Getting Started: Choose Transmission or Reception Mode

Transmission Mode (TX)

Used to connect AirPods or wireless headphones to any headphone jack. The Transmission Mode (TX) sends audio from a wired headphone jack (such as an airplane TV or a treadmill at the gym) to your AirPods or wireless headphones.

Reception Mode (RX)

Used to wirelessly connect your phone to an AUX-IN connection. The Reception Mode (RX) receives Bluetooth audio from a device (such as a smartphone or tablet) and sends it to the AUX-IN connection of a connected stereo system (such as in a car, boat, etc.).

Pairing AirFly Pro with AirPods (Transmission Mode)

1. To activate pairing mode on AirPods, first place the AirPods in the charging case. With the lid open, press and hold the button on the back of the charging case until the light blinks white.
2. Turn off Bluetooth on devices that were connected to your AirPods. To enter pairing mode, press and hold the power button on AirFly Pro for 4 seconds to turn it on. AirFly Pro will blink orange and white to indicate it is in pairing mode. If AirFly Pro does not blink orange and white, press the reset button on the right side to restore factory settings.
3. Once the connection is successfully established*, the light on your charging case will turn green and AirFly Pro will light up white and remain on for 10 seconds.
   • Initial pairing may take up to 90 seconds, but AirFly Pro will remember your AirPods for future connections.
4. Plug AirFly Pro into any device with a standard headphone jack to listen to audio wirelessly.

Pairing AirFly Pro with Wireless Headphones (Transmission Mode)

1. Put your headphones into Bluetooth pairing mode (please refer to your headphone manual for more information).
2. Turn off Bluetooth on devices that were connected to your headphones. To enter pairing mode, press and hold the power button on AirFly Pro for 4 seconds to turn it on. AirFly Pro will blink orange and white to indicate it is in pairing mode.
   • If AirFly Pro does not blink orange and white, press the reset button on the right side to restore factory settings.
3. Once the connection is successfully established, AirFly Pro will light up white and remain on for 10 seconds.
   • Initial pairing may take up to 90 seconds, but AirFly Pro will remember your headphones for future connections.
4. Plug AirFly Pro into any device with a standard headphone jack to listen to audio wirelessly.

Pairing with a Second Set of Wireless Headphones

With one set of headphones already connected and active, you can then pair a second set of headphones with AirFly Pro. Press the power button twice to switch to pairing mode (Note: AirFly must already be turned on to pair). Once the connection is successfully established, AirFly Pro will light up white and remain on for 10 seconds.

Reconnecting AirPods / Headphones to iPhone

Once paired, AirFly Pro remembers your AirPods / headphones and automatically switches to them when the device is turned on. To reconnect to your iPhone, first turn off AirFly Pro.

On your iPhone, open Bluetooth settings and select your headphones from the list. The status will change from “Not Connected” to “Connected” once the headphones are successfully paired with your iPhone.

Using AirFly Pro with an AUX-IN Connection (Reception Mode)

Turn AirFly Pro to Reception Mode (RX). Press and hold the power button to turn on AirFly (if it's not already on). AirFly will start blinking (orange and white) once it is in pairing mode.

With AirFly Pro in pairing mode, open the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone. Select AirFly Pro under “Other Devices” to complete the pairing.

Once your phone is connected, plug AirFly Pro into the AUX-IN connection of the desired source.

Tips & Tricks

If only one AirPod seems to play audio, turn AirFly Pro off and on again. This will re-sync AirFly Pro and should reconnect both AirPods.

If you have trouble pairing your headphones, make sure AirFly Pro is set to Transmission Mode (TX).

If you want to pair new headphones with AirFly Pro or reset the pairing list to factory settings, reset AirFly by pressing and holding the reset button on the side of AirFly for 4 seconds. After resetting, AirFly will blink orange four times and then enter pairing mode.

Charging AirFly Pro

To charge AirFly Pro, simply plug the included USB-C to USB-A cable into AirFly Pro and then into any USB port. AirFly Pro will be fully charged within 2 hours.

The internal battery of AirFly Pro lasts over 25 hours. It is recommended to fully charge AirFly Pro before first use. If AirFly Pro has low battery, it will blink orange three times to indicate that it needs to be charged soon.

During charging, AirFly Pro lights up orange and stays on. Once fully charged, the orange light will turn off.

Turning AirFly Pro On and Off

To turn on AirFly Pro, press and hold the power button for up to 5 seconds until AirFly Pro lights up.

To turn off AirFly Pro, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. AirFly Pro will blink twice orange and then turn off.

Status Light Guide

• On: White LED blinks twice
• Pairing Mode: White and orange LEDs blink alternately
• Unconnected Standby Mode: White LED blinks twice every 5 seconds
• Connected in Standby Mode: Solid white LED
• Low Battery: Orange LED blinks three times
• Charging: Solid orange LED
• Fully Charged: Orange LED turns off
