1. Important Preliminary Notes

The lightning symbol with an arrow inside an equilateral triangle is intended to warn the user about non-isolated "dangerous voltage" within the product's enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to cause an electric shock to a person.
The exclamation mark in an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance instructions in the accompanying documentation.
WARNING (if applicable): Connections marked with the symbol "⚡" may carry a risk of electric shock. External wiring connected to the terminals must be installed by qualified personnel or with pre-assembled cables.

2. Important Safety Instructions

- Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

- Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding-type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wider blade or the third prong is for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician to replace the obsolete outlet.
- Do not damage the power cord. Avoid stepping on the power cord or pinching it, especially at the plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
- Use only attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
- Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
- Disconnecting from the mains: By switching off the POWER switch (13), all functions are stopped and the amplifier indicators will turn off. However, the device is only completely disconnected from the mains by pulling the power plug (11). Therefore, the power plug and socket must be easily accessible.
- The device is connected to a grounded power outlet via a power cord.
- The marking information is located on the bottom of the device.
- The device must not be exposed to dripping or splashing, and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the device.

4. Introduction
The VEO-XPT44A is a professional HDBaseT® extension kit that includes a transmitter and a receiver. It allows extending a 4K video signal up to 40 meters or a Full HD signal up to 70 meters over a single CAT 5e/6 cable. It supports 4K video signals at 60Hz with YUV 4:4:4 Chroma Subsampling and HDR10. The transmitter has a loop-through HDMI® output for local monitoring or daisy-chain connection. For easy integration, both the transmitter and the receiver feature an unbalanced stereo output with a Euroblock connector. Additionally, the VEO-XPT44A features bidirectional PoH, allowing the transmitter to be powered by the receiver and vice versa. Thanks to its compact design and the additional capabilities of RS-232 and bidirectional IR signals, it is the ideal solution for all applications requiring extension of AV and control signals.

- HDMI® Signal Sources (e.g., Blu-ray Player, STB, etc.): Connect these devices to the HDMI® input of the VEO-XPT44A transmitter.
- HDMI® Displays (e.g., 4K or Full HD monitor or projector): Connect these devices to the HDMI® output of the VEO-XPT44A transmitter.
- IR Blaster: Connect this to the IR-Out port of the VEO-XPT44A transmitter and/or receiver.
- IR Receiver: Connect this to the IR-In port of the VEO-XPT44A transmitter and/or receiver.
Diagram Description:
The diagram shows a typical setup. A DVD or Blu-ray player connects to the transmitter's HDMI input. An IR Blaster connects to the transmitter's IR Out. A TV or monitor connects to the transmitter's HDMI Out (loop-through). The transmitter also has connections for RS-232 and audio. The receiver connects to the transmitter via a CAT5e/6/7 cable. The receiver has an HDMI output for a TV or monitor, and IR input/output connections. Power supplies are connected to both the transmitter and receiver, though only one is needed to power both.
Note: Please be careful when inserting or removing HDMI® cables.
