- Disconnecting from the mains: turning off the POWER switch will stop all functions and indicators, but complete disconnection is achieved by unplugging the power cord from its connector. Ensure this connector is easily accessible.
- The equipment connects to a grounded outlet via the power cord.
- Part of the product labeling is located on the bottom of the unit.
- This apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.

Introduction
The VEO-XPT44A is a professional HDBaseT® extension kit that includes a transmitter and a receiver. It allows extending a 4K video signal up to 40m or a Full HD signal up to 70m using a single Cat 5e/6 cable. It offers support for 4K@60Hz, 4:4:4 YUV, and HDR10. The transmitter features an auxiliary HDMI® output for monitoring or cascading to other devices. It also incorporates a stereo unbalanced audio output with an Euroblock connector on both the transmitter and receiver for complete integration. Furthermore, the VEO-XPT44A can be powered via the CAT 5e/6 cable bidirectionally using the PoH function, allowing the transmitter to power the receiver or vice versa. With its compact format and ability to transport RS-232 and IR signals, this kit is an excellent solution for AV extension and control data applications.

6.1. Transmitter: Front and Rear Panels
Front Panel:
- 1. HDMI In: HDMI input connector.
- 2. HDMI Out: Auxiliary HDMI output connector.
- 3. IR Out: IR output connector.
- 4. IR In: IR input connector.
- 5. DC/24V: 24V DC power port.
Rear Panel:
- 6. USB Port: Reserved for firmware updates.
- 7. RS-232: RS-232 port.
- 8. Audio Output: De-embedded audio output connector.
- 9. EDID Selector:
- Auto: 4K@60Hz by default.
- Local: Copies EDID data from the display connected to the transmitter.
- Remote: Copies EDID data from the display connected to the receiver.
- 10. Reset Button: Reset button.
- 11. CAT5e/6 HDBaseT® Output: CAT5e/6/7 HDBaseT® output connector.

Connections
Refer to the connection diagram for different devices on the following page.
- HDMI Input Signal: From video sources (e.g., Blu-ray players, STBs, etc.), connect the HDMI device to the VEO-XPT44A transmitter.
- HDMI Destination Devices: For HDMI destination devices (4K or Full HD displays or projectors), connect them to the HDMI output of the transmitter/receiver VEO-XPT44A.
- IR Emitter: Connect the IR emitter to the IR-Out connector of the transmitter/receiver VEO-XPT44A.
- IR Receiver: Connect the IR receiver to the IR-In connector of the transmitter/receiver VEO-XPT44A.

5. RS-232: For RS-232 devices at the source and destination (computers, serial controllers, etc.), connect the devices to the RS-232 Euroblock ports.
6. Audio Amplifier or Device: Connect audio devices to the audio extraction connector of the VEO-XPT44A transmitter/receiver.
7. Transmitter and Receiver: Connect the transmitter and receiver using a CAT 5e/6 cable to the HDBaseT® input and output RJ45 connectors of the receiver and transmitter, respectively.
8. Power Up: Connect the 24V DC power supply to either the transmitter or the receiver VEO-XPT44A. Note that only one of the two units needs to be connected to the power outlet for both to function.
Note: Insert and remove HDMI cables with care.
Connection Diagram:
