Headphone Controls and Functions
The GO Bluetooth headset features intuitive controls for music playback, calls, and power management.
Power and Bluetooth
- Power/Bluetooth/Accept Call Button: Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn the headset on or off. Press once to accept an incoming call or to play/pause music.
- Pairing Mode: With the headset off, press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds until blue and red LEDs flash alternately. Then, quickly press the Power button once to enter pairing mode. Your device should appear as "JLab-1BT". Enter PIN "0000" if prompted.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds until blue and red LEDs flash alternately.
Music and Call Controls
- Volume Up Button: Press to increase volume.
- Volume Down Button: Press to decrease volume. A gentle beep indicates maximum or minimum volume.
- Track Forward Button: Press to skip to the next song.
- Track Backward Button: Press to go to the previous song.
- Play/Pause/Reject Call Button: Press to play or pause music. Press to reject an incoming call.
LED Indicator Lights
Located on the back of the right earcup, these lights indicate charging status and Bluetooth pairing mode.
Charging Your Headset
For optimal performance, charge the device fully for 4 hours prior to first use. Subsequent charges take 1-2 hours. A full charge provides approximately 5 hours of continuous use.
- Connect the GO Bluetooth to a computer or 5V power adapter using the provided Mini USB cable.
- The LED indicator lights on the bottom will glow bright blue while charging and turn off when fully charged.
Important Notes on Bluetooth Usage
- Ensure both the headset and your device are in pairing mode for initial connection. If no device is found within 3 minutes, the headset will shut down.
- Bluetooth range is up to 33 feet (10 meters). Keep devices within range and minimize obstructions like walls for best performance.
- The headset automatically pairs with previously connected devices.
- Only one device can be connected at a time. Unpair from a device to connect to a new one.
- If the Bluetooth connection is lost, manually reconnect your device.
Troubleshooting
- Slow Red LED Flash: The GO Bluetooth needs to be recharged.
- No Sound:
- Verify the headset is charged and powered on.
- Confirm successful pairing with your Bluetooth device.
- Ensure the device is within the 33-foot range.
- Check that no other Bluetooth devices are actively paired.
Cautions
- Avoid exposing the headset to moisture or liquids.
- Do not expose to extreme heat, cold, or humidity.
- Avoid dropping or crushing the headset.
- Clean earbud tips regularly with a cotton swab to prevent wax buildup, which can affect sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, reduce volume or discontinue use. Consult a physician if discomfort persists.
- Store the headset safely when not in use, similar to how you would care for sunglasses.
