International Warranty Network
This document outlines the international warranty for CASIO G-SHOCK watches purchased in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine. The international warranty card is provided with your G-SHOCK watch. This translated document is not the international warranty itself. The international warranty for CASIO G-SHOCK watches purchased in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine is valid only outside these countries. Service for CASIO G-SHOCK watches within Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine is provided based on the manufacturer's regional warranty certificate.
The CASIO Computer Co., Ltd. guarantees that watches will be repaired free of charge by a member of the CASIO international warranty network under the following conditions:
- A completed warranty card and proof of purchase are required for warranty service.
- The warranty is valid for 1 year from the date of the first purchase for malfunctions occurring during normal use according to the user manual.
- The warranty does not cover: malfunctions due to improper, rough, or negligent handling; malfunctions due to fire or other natural disasters; malfunctions due to improper repair or adjustment performed by non-authorized Casio service centers; damage or wear to the case, band, or battery; failure to present proof of purchase when submitting for repair; expiration of the warranty period.
- For repairs sent to a CASIO international warranty network member, the watch must be carefully packaged with the warranty card, proof of purchase, and a description of the malfunction.
- CASIO and its network members are not responsible for loss, damage, or alteration of data or memory contents of the watch.
- This warranty is the sole explicit or implied basis for warranty repair of CASIO G-SHOCK watches outside of Russia and Ukraine.
- Warranty services are provided only by CASIO international warranty network members and only to the original purchaser.
Note: The extensive list of international service centers by country is detailed in the original document.
Important Information
Battery
The battery installed at the factory may discharge during shipping and storage. If the display becomes dim, replace the battery at an authorized CASIO service center or dealer.
Water Resistance
Watches are classified by water resistance levels (I to V). Do not press buttons underwater, adjust the crown underwater, or expose to saltwater without rinsing and drying.
- No Mark: Not protected from water. Avoid all moisture.
- WATER RESISTANT: Protected from splashes, rain, and washing. Not suitable for swimming or diving.
- 50 M WATER RESISTANT: Suitable for splashes, rain, washing, swimming, and snorkeling. Not for diving.
- 100 M WATER RESISTANT: Suitable for splashes, rain, washing, swimming, and skin diving. Not for scuba diving.
- 200 M WATER RESISTANT: Suitable for scuba diving (excluding depths requiring helium-oxygen mixtures).
Note: WR (Water Resistant) signifies compliance with ISO 2281. Short contact with water is generally fine.
Care and Maintenance
Avoid extreme temperatures. Handle watches with care to prevent drops. Do not overtighten the strap. Clean with a dry soft cloth or a slightly damp cloth with mild neutral detergent. Avoid volatile substances like gasoline or solvents. Store in a dry place when not in use. Be cautious with silk-screened designs on bands to avoid damage. Condensation may form on the inside of the glass due to temperature changes; this is normal and not a defect.
For plastic bands: A white powdery substance may appear, which is harmless and can be wiped off. Sweat, moisture, or high humidity can damage plastic bands; wipe them clean regularly.
For fluorescent cases and bands: Prolonged exposure to sunlight or moisture can cause fluorescent colors to fade. Avoid contact with other surfaces that may cause color transfer.
