Important Information

Battery

The battery installed at the factory may discharge during shipping and storage. If power is insufficient (e.g., dim display), replace the battery at an authorized CASIO service center or dealer.

Water Resistance

Watches are classified by water resistance levels (I to V). Do not press buttons underwater, adjust the crown underwater, or unscrew the crown underwater. Rinse with fresh water and dry if exposed to salt water. Avoid prolonged contact of leather straps with water.

Note: WR (Water Resistant) is based on ISO 2281. 5 Bar (50 meters) is suitable for showering and brief swimming. 10 Bar (100 meters) is suitable for swimming and snorkeling. 20 Bar (200 meters) is suitable for scuba diving (excluding deep dives requiring helium-oxygen mixture).

Care and Maintenance

General Handling

Avoid extreme temperatures. Handle with care, avoid drops. Do not overtighten the strap; a finger should fit between the strap and your wrist.

Cleaning

Use a dry soft cloth or a soft cloth dampened with a mild neutral detergent solution. Never use volatile agents like gasoline, solvents, or spray cleaners.

Storage

Store in a dry place when not in use.

Chemical Exposure

Avoid contact with gasoline, cleaning solvents, spray aerosols, adhesives, paint, etc. Chemical reactions can damage gaskets, case, and polish.

Silk-Screened Straps

Be careful when cleaning straps with silk-screened images to avoid damaging the designs.

Plastic Straps

A white powdery substance on plastic straps is harmless and can be wiped off. Sweat, moisture, or high humidity can damage or crack plastic straps. Wipe clean with a soft cloth.

Fluorescent Cases and Straps

Prolonged direct sunlight or moisture can cause fluorescent colors to fade. Wipe off moisture promptly. Contact with other wet surfaces can cause discoloration.

Condensation

Slight condensation may form inside the glass due to temperature changes; this is normal and not a defect.
