• Earbuds: Left and Right earbuds.
• Charging Case: Houses and charges the earbuds. Features an indicator lamp and a setup button.
• Charging Port: Type-C port for charging the case.
• Touch Area: Located on the earbuds for playback control and other functions.

Pairing and Connecting

For OnePlus Phones (or later versions):

1. Enable Bluetooth on your OnePlus mobile phone.
2. Open the charging case of the earbuds.
3. Place the charging case close to the phone and follow the on-screen prompts.

For Other Android Phones or Bluetooth Devices:

1. Place the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 into the charging case with the cover opened.
2. Press and hold the setup button on the charging case for 3 seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The indicator lamp will blink red.
3. On your phone or device, navigate to Bluetooth settings and select "OnePlus Nord Buds 2" to connect.

To Reset to Factory Settings:

1. Place the earbuds into the charging case with the cover opened.
2. Press and hold the setup button on the charging case for 10 seconds until the indicator blinks red, then green.

Playback Control (Touch Functions)

You can customize single tap, double tap, and triple tap functions for both the left and right earbuds via your phone's Bluetooth settings or the HeyMelody app.

• Single Tap (Default): Play/Pause
• Double Tap (Default): Next Track / Answer/End Call
• Triple Tap (Default): Previous Track
• Press and Hold: Switch between Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes (or Decline Calls).

Other Features

• Noise Cancellation & Transparency: Enhance your listening experience by reducing ambient noise or allowing external sounds in.
• HeyMelody App: Download and install the HeyMelody app from the Google Play Store (for Android) or App Store (for iOS) to access advanced features, customize controls, and upgrade the software version of the buds.

Ear Tips for Optimal Fit

An ear tip that fits just right can provide better noise cancellation and sound quality. Try different sizes of ear tips to find the best seal for your ear canals. The medium size comes pre-attached.

Charging

Earbuds: Place the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 into the charging case. They will be charged automatically. The indicator lamp on the case shows the battery level of the earbuds when they are inside.

Charging Case: Use the provided Type-C cable to charge the charging case.

Battery Level Indicator:

• Green: High battery level
• Yellow: Medium battery level
• Red: Low battery level

Before using the device, please read and observe the following considerations to ensure the best performance and avoid dangerous or illegal situations.

General Precautions:

• Electronic Devices: Do not use this device in settings where the use of wireless devices is prohibited, as it may interfere with other electronic devices or cause hazards.
• Medical Devices: In medical or healthcare settings where the use of wireless devices is explicitly prohibited, please observe the requirements of the site and switch off the device. Radio waves from the earbuds may affect the normal functioning of implantable medical devices or personal medical devices such as pacemakers, cochlear implants, and hearing aids. If you use such medical equipment, please consult with the manufacturer for restrictions on the use of the equipment. Keep at least 15 cm away from implanted medical devices like pacemakers.
• Hearing Protection: When using earbuds to listen to music or make phone calls, it is recommended that you use the minimum volume required to avoid damaging your hearing. Prolonged exposure to high volume may cause permanent hearing impairment.
• Driving Safety: Do not use this product while driving. The electronic devices of the car may malfunction due to radio interference from the earbuds. Please comply with relevant regulations and do not do anything that may cause distraction.
• Aircraft Safety: Wireless devices may interfere with the flight system of the aircraft. Please comply with airline regulations and do not use the device when there is a prohibition on using wireless equipment.
• Child Safety: This device and its accessories may contain small parts. Keep the device and accessories out of reach of children. Children may damage the device and accessories unintentionally or swallow small parts, which may cause suffocation. This device is not a toy; therefore, children should use it under the supervision of a guardian.
• Accessories Requirements: Only accessories approved by the device manufacturer and compatible with the device can be used. Use of other types of accessories may violate warranty provisions and lead to incidents.

Battery Safety:

• Use a certified adapter for charging.
• Do not disassemble, modify, or immerse the battery in water or other liquids to avoid battery leakage, overheating, or explosion.
• Do not drop, squeeze, or puncture the battery. Excessive external pressure may lead to short circuit and overheating.
• The device is equipped with a built-in battery that is not removable. Do not replace the battery on your own. The battery can only be replaced at authorized service centers.
• Caution: Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries according to instructions.

Operation Environment:

• Do not use the device in wet environments or near magnetic fields to avoid internal circuit malfunction.
• Do not use the device in thunderstorms.
• Use within an ambient temperature range of 0°C to +35°C and store within -10°C to +50°C. Extreme temperatures may cause malfunction. Battery performance may be compromised at temperatures lower than 0°C.
• Do not place the device in positions subject to direct sunlight or heat sources.
• Do not place sharp or metal items around the receiver or speaker to avoid harm.

Care and Maintenance:

• If not using the earbuds, place them back into the charging case to prevent loss and charge them in time.
• Keep the device and accessories in a dry environment. Do not dry the device using heating devices like microwaves or hair dryers.
• Do not use strong chemicals, detergents, or cleaning equipment to clean the device or its accessories. Use a clean, dry, soft cloth.
• Do not place magnetic stripe cards (like bank cards, SIM cards) with the device for a long time, as magnetic stripe cards may be damaged by the magnetic field.
• Do not disassemble or modify the device and its accessories; otherwise, the warranty will not be applicable.
• If malfunction occurs, please contact authorized service centers.

Warning:

• Do not swallow earbuds. Children and minors should use the device under the supervision of a guardian to prevent swallowing.

When this product reaches its end of life, the user has the choice to give his product to a competent recycling or organization. Plastic Recycling: Plastic (PS/PP/Polypropylene) should be disposed of in accordance with applicable laws. Such plastics should preferably be recycled.

Limited Warranty

Thank you for using this product. In case of any damage not caused by human factors, OnePlus will provide comprehensive warranty services according to local laws and regulations.

Warranty Terms:

1. A valid Proof of Purchase (POP) shall be issued by the seller at the time of purchase. Please keep your Warranty Card and POP for future reference.
2. In case of any damage of the product not due to human factors, consumers are entitled to enjoy customer service free of charge by providing the Warranty Card and POP within the warranty period.

Warranty Not Applicable In The Following Cases:

• The valid warranty period expires.
• The product is damaged because it is accidentally dropped or immersed in water when in use.
• Damages are caused by human factors such as unauthorized disassembly, modification, etc.
• Damages are caused by force majeure (e.g., fire, earthquake, and lightning).
• Damages are caused by improper usage that does not conform to the user guide or operation manual.
• Damages are caused by usage in environments not conforming to product specifications.
• Information on Warranty Card or Proof of Purchase is inconsistent with the product's serial number or has been altered.
• The SN code of the product is missing, damaged, or blurred beyond recognition.
