Product Components

This section describes the main components of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r.

Earbuds

Each earbud features a touch-sensitive area for controls and an indicator lamp.

Charging Box

The charging box houses the earbuds and includes an indicator lamp and a charging port.

Ear Tip Fit

An ear tip that fits just right can provide better noise cancellation and sound quality while offering greater comfort. Try to pick a pair of ear tips that make a good seal with your ear canals. Please note that you might need different sizes for your left and right ears.

The medium size comes already attached.

Available sizes: Small (S), Medium (M), Large (L).

Pair Earbuds

Open the charging case and your earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.

To pair with a new device when your earbuds are already connected to one, touch and hold on both earbuds for 4 seconds.

Buds Details and App

For OnePlus 6 (or later versions)

Upgrade the Wireless Earphones APP (Oxygen OS12 and up) or OnePlus Buds APP (Oxygen OS11) to the latest version from Google Play. Then you can set buds details and upgrade firmware version of the buds under Settings > Bluetooth.

Other Android phones

Download and install HeyMelody to obtain features of the buds and upgrade the firmware version for enhanced listening experience.

(Note: QR code for HeyMelody download excluded as per instructions.)

Play Control

You can customize the single-tap, double-tap, and triple-tap functions of the left bud and right bud on the phone to perform different commands:

Single-Tap by default: "Play/Pause" ▶️
Double-tap by default: "Next track", "Answer/End calls" ▶️▶️
Triple-tap by default: "Previous track" ◀️◀️

Other Function Control

Press and hold the bud for 3s: Decline calls ?

Charging

Battery Level

When earbuds are inside the charging case, the indicator shows the battery level of the earbuds. When earbuds are removed from the charging case, the indicator shows the battery level of the charging case.

Green indicator: high battery level ?
Yellow indicator: medium battery level ?
Red indicator: low battery level ?

Earbuds Charging

Place OnePlus Nord Buds 2r into the charging case, and they will be charged automatically.

Charging Case

Use a Type-C cable to charge the charging case. ?
