Product Overview

Introducing the OnePlus Nord Buds 2, designed for immersive audio and comfortable wear.

Earbuds

Ergonomically designed earbuds featuring a touch-sensitive area on each bud for intuitive control.

Charging Box

A compact charging case to store and charge the earbuds. It includes an indicator lamp, a setup button, and a USB Type-C charging port.

Pairing and Connecting

For OnePlus Phones (later versions):

1. Enable Bluetooth ? on your OnePlus phone.
2. Open the charging case of the earbuds.
3. Place the charging case close to your phone.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect.

For Other Android Phones and Devices:

1. Place the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 into the charging case with the cover open.
2. Press and hold the [Setup button] on the charging case until the indicator blinks red to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
3. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "OnePlus Nord Buds 2" to connect.

Resetting to Factory Settings:

1. Place the earbuds in the charging case with the cover open.
2. Press and hold the [Setup button] on the charging case until the indicator blinks red.

Controls

Customize touch functions for single-tap, double-tap, and triple-tap on the left and right buds for different commands.

Default Controls:

• Single Tap: ▶️ Play/⏸️ Pause
• Double Tap: ⏭️ Next Track
• Triple Tap: ⏮️ Previous Track
• Press and Hold (one bud): ? Answer/End Call
• Press and Hold (both buds): Switch between Noise Cancellation/Transparency modes.

Note: For non-OnePlus devices, features and software version upgrades can be managed via the HeyMelody app, available on the Google Play Store.

Charging and Battery Status

Earbuds Charging: Place the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 into the charging case. They will charge automatically.

Charging Case Charging: Use a USB Type-C ? cable to charge the charging case.

Battery Indicator:

• ? Green Indicator: High battery level
• ? Yellow Indicator: Medium battery level
• ? Red Indicator: Low battery level

When earbuds are inside the charging case, the indicator shows the battery level of the earbuds. When earbuds are removed, the indicator shows the battery level of the charging case.

Safety Instructions

Before using the device, please read and observe the following considerations to ensure the best performance of the device and avoid dangerous or illegal situations.

Electronic Devices

• Rated Power: 20mW
• Frequency Range: 2402-2480MHz
• If there is a prohibition on the use of wireless devices, please do not use this device, otherwise it will interfere with other electronic devices or cause other hazards.

Impact on Medical Devices

• In medical or healthcare settings where the use of wireless devices is explicitly prohibited, please observe the requirements of the site and switch off the device.
• Radio waves from the earbuds may affect the normal functioning of implantable medical devices or personal medical devices such as pacemakers, cochlear implants, and hearing aids. If you use such medical equipment, please consult with the manufacturer for restrictions on the use of the equipment.
• When using this product, please keep at least 15 cm away from implanted medical devices, such as pacemakers, etc.

Hearing Protection

• When using earbuds to listen to music or make phone calls, it is recommended that you use the minimum volume required for music or calls to avoid damaging your hearing.
• Prolonged exposure to high volume may cause permanent hearing impairment.
• Exposure to high volume while driving may distract the driver and may cause accidents.

Traffic Safety

• Please comply with the relevant regulations of the country or region and do not use this product when driving.
• Keep in mind that driving safety is the most important thing and do not do anything that may cause distraction.
• The electronic devices of the car may malfunction due to the radio interference of the earbuds. Please contact the manufacturer for detailed information.
• Wireless devices may interfere with the flight system of the aircraft. Please comply with the relevant regulations of the airline. Do not use the device when there is a prohibition on using wireless equipment.

Child Safety

• This device and its accessories may contain small parts. Please place the device and its accessories in places that children cannot reach. Children may damage the device and its accessories unintentionally or swallow small parts of the device, which may cause suffocation. Other hazards may also occur.
• This device is not a toy; therefore, children should use it under the supervision of a guardian.

Accessories Requirements

• Only accessories approved by the device manufacturer and compatible with the device can be used. The use of other types of accessories may violate the warranty provisions of the equipment and the relevant provisions of the country in which the equipment is in place and may lead to incidents. For approved accessories, please contact authorized service centers.

Battery Safety

• Please use a certified adapter for charging.
• Do not disassemble or modify the battery, insert foreign matter, or immerse the battery in water or other liquids to avoid battery leakage, overheating, or explosion.
• Do not drop, squeeze, or puncture the battery. Excessive external pressure on the battery may lead to short circuit and overheating inside the battery.
• This device is equipped with a built-in battery that is not removable. Do not replace the battery on your own to prevent causing damage to the battery or device. The battery can only be replaced in authorized service centers. Caution: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
• Please dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.

Operation Environment

• Do not use the device in wet environments or near magnetic fields to avoid internal circuit malfunction of the device.
• Please do not use the device in thunderstorms. Thunderstorms may cause malfunction of the device or risks of electric shock.
• Please use the device within a temperature range of 0°C to +35°C, and store the device and its accessories within a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C. Extremely high or low temperatures may cause malfunction of the device. The performance of the battery may compromise when the temperature is lower than 0°C.
• Do not place the device in a position subjected to direct sunlight, such as on a car dashboard or window sill.
• Do not expose the device to heat or sources of ignition, such as electric heaters, ovens, microwave ovens, water heaters, stoves, ovens, or any other place that may generate heat.
• Do not place pins and other sharp metal items around the receiver or speaker so as to avoid metal items being attached, which may cause harm to you.

Care and Maintenance

• If you are not using the earbuds, please put the earbuds back into the charging case to prevent loss and charge the headset in time.
• Please keep the device and its accessories in a dry environment. Do not dry the device by using heating devices such as microwave ovens or hair dryers.
• Do not place the device and its accessories in an area where the temperature is too high or too low, otherwise it may cause malfunction or explosion.
• Before cleaning and maintenance, please stop using the device, close all apps, and disconnect the device from other devices. Do not use strong chemical products, detergents, or cleaning equipment to clean the device, its accessories. Please use a clean, dry, and soft cloth to wipe the device or its accessories.
• Do not place magnetic stripe cards, such as bank cards, SIM cards, etc., together with the device for a long time because magnetic stripe cards may be damaged by magnetic field.

This symbol ♻️ with or without a solid bar means that according to local laws and regulations, your product and/or its battery shall be disposed of separately from household waste. When this product reaches its end of life, the user has the choice to give this product to a competent recycling or organization.
