Installation Instructions

General Advice: Before starting, check that all parts are present and have not been damaged or deformed during transport. In case of doubts or questions regarding installation, use, or limitations of the product, contact your dealer. Fiamma recommends that installation is carried out by qualified personnel in compliance with current local regulations.

Step 1: Prepare Rails

Take two rails (Part A) and two rails with integrated mechanisms (Part B). Attach Part A to Part B, ensuring the correct orientation as depicted in the installation diagrams.

Step 2: Mount Rails to Vehicle

Attach the assembled rail units (Part B) to the vehicle. The diagrams show two points of attachment on each rail unit, which are secured with fasteners. The total length of the rails is approximately 130 cm.

Step 3: Secure End Stops

Attach end stops or brackets (Part D) to the ends of the rails. The diagram illustrates Part D being slid or attached to the rail.

Step 4: Tighten Fasteners

Ensure all fasteners are securely tightened. The recommended tightening torque for various connections is 1.5 Nm.

Step 5: Final Assembly

Drill holes with a 6.5 mm drill bit at the indicated positions. Secure the components using the provided bolts (Part F), nuts (Part G), and washers (Part H).

Step 6: Attach Remaining Brackets

Attach the remaining end stops/brackets (Part E) to the other ends of the rails, following the visual guide.

Step 7: Apply Labels

Affix the provided labels to the Carry-Bike rails as instructed to ensure proper identification and information is visible.
