4L Multi-functional Mini Fridge Installation Manual
I. Pre-installation Preparation
(I) Inspect Product Accessories
Upon receiving the product, carefully check whether all items in the package are included. The package should contain:
- One Yashe 4L multi-functional mini fridge
- One AC power cord (120V)
- One DC power cord (12V)
- One product instruction manual
If any accessories are missing or there is damage to the fridge's exterior, please contact the after-sales customer service immediately.
(II) Select an Installation Location
-
Ventilation Requirements: Choose a well-ventilated location to place the fridge. Ensure that there is at least a 2-inch (approximately 5 cm) clearance around all sides (top, both sides, and back) of the fridge. This allows for proper air circulation, facilitating effective heat dissipation and preventing performance degradation or malfunctions caused by poor heat dissipation.
-
Environmental Requirements: Avoid placing the fridge in damp or high-temperature areas, such as bathrooms or next to radiators. Also, do not expose it to direct sunlight to prevent the fridge's exterior from aging and to maintain stable internal temperatures unaffected by the environment.
-
Stable Placement: Ensure that the surface on which the fridge is placed is flat and stable. Prevent the fridge from tilting or wobbling, as this may affect its normal operation or cause items inside to tip over.
II. Power Connection
(I) Home Power Connection (AC 120V)
- Insert one end of the AC power cord into the power interface on the back of the fridge. Make sure the plug is fully inserted and the connection is secure.
- Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a standard 120V household power outlet. Confirm that the outlet is supplying power properly. At this point, the fridge is powered on, and you can proceed with the mode settings.
(II) Vehicle Power Connection (DC 12V)
- Start the vehicle to ensure that the car cigarette lighter is powered.
- Insert one end of the DC power cord into the power interface on the back of the fridge, ensuring a tight connection.
- Plug the other end of the DC power cord into the car cigarette lighter socket. After insertion, check if the fridge is powered on. If the indicator light on the fridge lights up, the connection is successful.
III. Mode Setting and Startup
(I) Cooling Mode Setting
- Locate the mode switch on the back of the fridge and slide it to the side marked "COOL".
- The indicator light on the front of the fridge will then turn on, indicating that the fridge has entered the cooling mode and started to cool down. When the ambient temperature is between 64.4 - 68°F (18 - 20°C), the internal temperature of the fridge will gradually drop to 33.8 - 35.6°F (1 - 2°C).
(II) Heating Mode Setting
- If you need to use the heating function, slide the mode switch on the back of the fridge to the side marked "HEAT".
- The fridge's indicator light will turn on, and it will enter the heating mode. The internal temperature will gradually rise to a maximum of 149°F (65°C).
IV. Post-installation Checks
1. Operation Status Check:
After the fridge is powered on and the mode is set, carefully observe its operation. Check for any abnormal noises. During normal operation, the noise level should be below 25dB. If there are loud or unusual sounds, immediately disconnect the power, check if the fridge is placed stably and if there are items inside that may be shaking or colliding, and contact the after-sales personnel.
2. Temperature Check:
Wait for a certain period (about 1 - 2 hours in cooling mode and about 30 minutes - 1 hour in heating mode). Then open the fridge door and feel whether the internal temperature is within the temperature range of the set mode. If the temperature is abnormal, check if the mode switch is set correctly and if the power connection is stable.
By following the above steps, you have completed the installation of the 4L multi-functional mini fridge. If you have any questions or issues during use, feel free to refer to the user manual or contact our customer service team for assistance.
