Fuse Locations
This document details the location and function of fuses within Land Rover vehicles. It is divided into two main fuse box locations: the engine compartment and the passenger compartment.
Engine Compartment Fuse Box:
The fuse box in the engine compartment is typically located under the hood. The specific location and arrangement of fuses are indicated on a label on the inside of the fuse box cover.
Passenger Compartment Fuse Box:
To access the fuse box in the passenger compartment, open the glove box. Squeeze the upper parts of the retaining clips and lower the glove box into the footwell. A label within the glove box compartment indicates the protected electrical circuits and the location of the fuses.
Fuse Replacement Procedure
Important Safety Precautions:
- Always replace a fuse with one of the same type and rating as specified by Land Rover. Using an incorrect fuse can damage the vehicle's electrical system and potentially cause a fire.
- If a fuse repeatedly blows after replacement, it indicates an underlying electrical issue. The system should be checked by a dealer or a Land Rover technical center.
- Land Rover recommends that fuse and relay replacements be performed only by qualified technicians.
- Before replacing any fuse, always turn off the ignition and the relevant electrical circuit.
