Fuses

Fuse Locations

This document outlines the location and function of fuses within Land Rover vehicles. Fuses are critical components that protect the vehicle's electrical systems from damage caused by overcurrents.

There are two primary fuse box locations:

  1. Fuse box in the engine compartment.
  2. Fuse box in the passenger compartment.

Accessing the Passenger Compartment Fuse Box: To access the fuse box in the passenger compartment, open the glove box. Squeeze the upper parts of the latches and lower the glove box into the footwell.

The label in the rear of the glove box compartment indicates the protected electrical circuits and the location of the fuses. The numbers and locations of the fuses in the engine compartment are shown on the inside of the fuse box cover.

Replacing a Blown Fuse

Important Safety Note: When replacing a fuse, always install a fuse of the correct amperage and type as specified by Land Rover. Using an incorrect fuse can damage the vehicle's electrical system and potentially cause a fire.

If a fuse blows again after replacement, it is recommended to have the system checked by a Land Rover dealer or a qualified technician.

Recommendation: Land Rover recommends that fuse and relay replacements be performed only by qualified technicians.

Before replacing any fuse, always turn off the ignition and the relevant electrical circuit.
