Land Rover Fuse Locations and Replacement Guide
This document provides comprehensive information regarding the location, identification, and replacement of fuses in various fuse boxes within a Land Rover vehicle. It is essential to follow these guidelines to ensure the proper functioning and safety of the vehicle's electrical systems.
General Precautions
Avoid allowing moisture to enter the fuse box when the cover is removed. Always replace the cover as soon as possible. Before replacing any fuse, always turn off the ignition and the relevant electrical circuit. When installing a new fuse, ensure it is of the correct amperage and type as specified by Land Rover. Using an incorrect fuse can damage the vehicle's electrical system and potentially cause a fire. If a new fuse blows immediately, have the system checked by a dealer or authorized workshop.
Note: Land Rover recommends that fuse replacement be performed only by qualified technicians.
Fuse Box Locations and Access
Engine Compartment Fuse Box
Access to the engine compartment fuse box is as follows:
- Remove the two plastic retainers.
- Pull the pipe upwards to disconnect it from the air duct.
- Release the retainers; the fuse box can now be opened.
The numbers and locations of fuses in the engine compartment are shown on the inside of the fuse box cover.
Cabin Fuse Box
Access to the cabin fuse box is via two covers:
- For access to the upper section, open the glove box and remove the trim panel of the glove box. An illustration showing the protected circuits and fuse locations is affixed to this panel.
- For access to the lower section, remove the lower trim panel.
Luggage Compartment Fuse Box
Access to the luggage compartment fuse box is as follows:
- Remove the left trim panel in the luggage compartment. An illustration showing the protected circuits and fuse locations is affixed to this panel.
