Fuses

Fuse Box Locations

The vehicle is equipped with multiple fuse boxes to protect various electrical circuits. These are typically located in the engine compartment, luggage compartment, and cabin. Refer to the diagrams and descriptions below for specific locations and access instructions.

Luggage Compartment Fuse Boxes

To access the fuse boxes in the luggage compartment:

  1. Open the tailgate.
  2. Locate the panel on the rear wall of the luggage compartment. Pull the panel firmly to remove it. A label on the back of the access panel indicates the protected circuits and fuse locations.
  3. When reinstalling the panel, ensure the three mounting/guide pins align with their respective holes before pressing the panel into place.
  4. The upper fuse box is located in the luggage compartment.
  5. The lower fuse box is also located in the luggage compartment.

Cabin Fuse Box

To access the fuse box in the cabin:

  1. Open the glove box.
  2. Press the upper ends of the support pillars on each side and lower the glove box into the footwell. A label on the back of the glove box indicates the protected circuits and fuse locations.

Engine Compartment Fuse Box

To access the fuse box in the engine compartment:

  1. Remove the engine compartment cover.
  2. Release the clips on each side of the fuse box cover and remove it.
  3. Slightly lift the mesh to allow for the removal of the fuse box cover.
  4. Remove the fuse box cover. A label on the inside of the cover indicates the protected circuits and fuse locations.

Fuse Replacement

Caution: Do not allow moisture to enter an open fuse box. Reinstall covers and panels as soon as possible.

When replacing a fuse, always use a Land Rover-approved fuse of the same type and rating as the one being replaced, or one with identical characteristics. Using an incorrect fuse can damage the vehicle's electrical system and potentially cause a fire.

If a new fuse blows immediately after replacement, have the protected system checked by a Land Rover dealer or authorized workshop.

Note: Land Rover recommends that relay replacements be performed only by qualified technicians.

Always switch off the ignition and the relevant electrical circuit before replacing a fuse.
