Introduction & Vehicle Compatibility
This document provides installation instructions and programming procedures for the Fortin EVO-ALL interface module, designed for remote start and key bypass functions. It is compatible with specific Buick Encore and Encore GX models.

Firmware Version: 70.[45] GM MINIMUM. Update firmware and options using the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool (sold separately).
Installation Requirements & Warnings
⚠️ ATTENTION:
Hood Pin: The hood pin switch is mandatory for installation. If the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open, set Function A11 to OFF (NON).
The installation of safety elements is mandatory. The hood pin is an essential security element and must be installed.
WARNING: This module must be installed by a qualified technician. Incorrect connections can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.

- 1x 1k Ohm Resistor
Wiring Information
The following describes key connection points, typically found in the vehicle's BCM (Body Control Module), located on the right side of the center console, passenger side.

Note: If the vehicle is not equipped with the On-Star® system, follow specific wiring instructions.
Key Bypass Programming Procedure
This section details the step-by-step procedure for programming the key bypass module. Follow these instructions carefully.
Procedure Steps:
- Prepare Remote: Remove the battery from the OEM remote. Place the OEM remote in the key reader located in the center console (behind cup holders). Refer to the vehicle user guide for keyport location.
- Connect Data-Link: Press and hold the programming button. Connect the 4-PIN Data-link harness (black connector). LEDs: Blue, Red, Yellow, and Blue & Red illuminate alternately.
- Release Button: Release the programming button when the Yellow LED is solid. If the LED is not solid Yellow, disconnect the 4-Pin connector and return to Step 1.
- Insert Connectors: Insert all remaining required connectors.
- Program Button Presses: Press and release the programming button five (5) times. The Yellow LED will flash 5 times per second. Wait for the Yellow LED to turn solid ON.
- Open Door: Open the driver's door.
- Foot Brake & Start: Press the foot-brake pedal. Press the Push-to-Start button (▶️ Push Start) until the engine starts. Release the foot-brake pedal. The Red LED will turn ON, and the Yellow LED will turn OFF.
- Turn Off Engine: Close and open the driver's door. Press the Push-to-Start button until the engine turns OFF.
- Foot Brake & Start (2nd Time): Press the foot-brake pedal. Press the Push-to-Start button until the engine starts. Release the foot-brake pedal. The Blue LED will turn ON. The Blue LED will turn OFF. The Red LED will turn OFF. The Yellow LED will flash rapidly. The Blue LED will turn ON. The Blue LED will flash rapidly.
- Turn Off Engine (2nd Time): Press the Push-to-Start button until the engine turns OFF. The Blue LED will flash slowly.
- Disconnect: Disconnect all connectors, including the Data-Link (4-pin) connector.
- Update/Program (Optional): Use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool to visit the DCryptor menu for firmware updates or further programming.
- Reconnect: After programming is complete, reconnect the 4-Pin (Data-Link) connector and then all other remaining connectors. The module is now programmed.
Remote Starter/Alarm Verification: Test the remote starter. Remote start the vehicle.
Remote Starter Functionality
Once installed and programmed, the EVO-ALL module enables remote start functionality.
- Preparation: Ensure all doors are closed.
- Remote Start: Initiate the remote start sequence using the vehicle's OEM remote, the remote-starter remote, or a proximity remote.
- Entry: Enter the vehicle with the intelligent key.
- Driving: The vehicle is now ready to be put into gear and driven.
Important Note: If the vehicle is not unlocked using one of the specified methods before opening a door, the remote starter will shut down.
