This document provides installation instructions, wiring diagrams, and programming procedures for the Fortin EVO-ALL module, designed for Nissan Sentra vehicles with a Push-to-Start system. It details supported vehicle functions, required parts, and the installation process.

Notes

Mandatory Installation Requirements
Hood Pin (Contact de Capot)
The hood pin switch must be installed. If the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open, set function A11 to OFF (NON).
Notice: The installation of safety elements is mandatory. The hood pin is an essential security element and must be installed. Notice: L'installation des éléments de sécurité est obligatoire. Le contact de capot est un élément de sécurité essentiel et doit absolument être installé.
This module must be installed by a qualified technician. A wrong connection can cause permanent damage to the vehicle. CE MODULE DOIT ÊTRE INSTALLÉ PAR UN TECHNICIEN QUALIFIÉ. TOUTE ERREUR DANS LES BRANCHEMENTS PEUT OCCASIONNER DES DOMMAGES PERMANENTS AU VÉHICULE.
Wiring Diagrams and Connections

Key Connection Points
1. OBDII Connector: Vehicle's On-Board Diagnostics II port.
2. BCM (Body Control Module): Located left of the steering column.
EVO-ALL Module Ports and Connections
The EVO-ALL module has several ports (A, B, C, D) and connects to the vehicle via specific wires and connectors. Refer to the diagrams for detailed pinouts.
- Port A (16-Pin): Connects to various vehicle functions including Hood, Hand Brake, Trunk Release, Tachometer, Foot Brake, Ground While Running, Aux 1, Trunk, Door, Unlock, Lock, and Convenient Ignition.
- Port B (Various Wires): Connects to vehicle signals for Lock, Unlock, Door Status, Trunk Status, Aux 1, Ground While Running, Start, Foot Brake, Tachometer, Trunk Release, Hand Brake, Hood Status, and Convenient Ignition.
- Port C (4-Pin Connector): Connects to CAN LOW and CAN HIGH signals.
- Port D (6-Pin Red Connector): Connects to +12V and +BRAKE (Automatic Transmission) or +CLUTCH (Manual Transmission).
Vehicle Harness Connections
- RS1 (Ground): Connects to vehicle ground (Black wire).
- RS2/D6 (+12V): Connects to vehicle's constant 12V source (White wire).
- CAN LOW: Connects to vehicle's CAN bus low signal (Lavender/Pink wire).
- CAN HIGH: Connects to vehicle's CAN bus high signal (Lavender/Blue wire).
- +BRAKE (Automatic): Connects to the vehicle's brake signal.
- +CLUTCH (Manual): Connects to the vehicle's clutch signal (Lt. Green wire).
BCM Connections
Connections are made to the vehicle's BCM via Grey 40-Pin and Black 24-Pin connectors.
DO NOT SOLDER CONNECTIONS. The module may not program or remote start if connections are soldered.
Harness Connections (THAR-NIS7)
The THAR-NIS7 harness simplifies installation by providing pre-made connections. It includes:
- 16-pin T-Harness Plug (Male)
- 5-pin Conn.
- 6-pin Red Conn.
- 40-pin Grey Conn. (Female)
- 24-pin Black Conn. (Female)
- Male Vehicle Grey Plug
- Male Vehicle Black Plug
Data-Link Cable: Use the supplied Data-Link cable with the module. Maximum 1 Amp current.
DCRYPTOR Programming Procedure
Required Parts (Not Included)
- FLASH LINK UPDATER, FLASH LINK MOBILE, or FLASH LINK MANAGER software
- Microsoft Windows Computer with Internet connection OR Smartphone (Android/iOS) with Internet connection
Programming Steps:
- Step 1: Press and hold the programming button. Connect the 4-Pin Data-link connector. The BLUE, RED, YELLOW, and BLUE & RED LEDs will illuminate alternatively.
- Step 2: Release the programming button when the LED is BLUE. If the LED is not solid BLUE, disconnect the 4-Pin connector and return to Step 1.
- Step 3: Insert the required remaining connectors.
- Step 4: Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn ON the ignition.
- Step 5: Press and release the programming button once (1x). The BLUE LED will turn off. Wait for the BLUE LED to flash rapidly.
- Step 6: Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn OFF the ignition.
- Step 7: Press the remote UNLOCK button once. The BLUE LED will turn off. The RED and YELLOW LEDs will alternate.
- Step 8: Disconnect all connectors, including the Data-Link (4-pins) connector.
- Step 9: Use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool to visit the DCryptor menu.
- Step 10: After programming is complete, reconnect the 4-Pin (Data-Link) connector and then all other connectors to the EVO-ALL module.
Remote Starter / Alarm Verification
Test the remote starter by starting the vehicle remotely.
Remote Starter Functionality
- Ensure all doors are closed.
- Initiate remote start using the vehicle's remote or the remote-starter remote.
- Unlock the doors using the OEM remote, remote-starter remote, or proximity remote.
- Enter the vehicle with the Intelligent Key.
- The vehicle is now ready to be put into gear and driven.
If the vehicle is not unlocked with one of the specified methods, the remote-starter will shut down as soon as any door is opened.
