Addendum - Suggested Wiring Configuration
This document provides installation and programming instructions for the Fortin EVO-ONE module for the Audi Q3 (2019-2022) with Push-to-Start ignition.

Firmware and Options
Firmware Version: 61.[12] VW MINIMUM
To add the firmware version and options, use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool (sold separately).
Bypass Options
Program bypass options as follows:

Mandatory Installation Requirements
HOOD PIN: The hood pin switch (included) must be installed if the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open. Set Function A11 to OFF.
SECURITY STICKER: Installation of safety elements is mandatory. The hood pin and sticker are essential security elements and must be installed.
Technician Warning
WARNING: This module must be installed by a qualified technician. Incorrect connections can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.

1 Key Required for the Installation.
Automatic Transmission Wiring Connection
This section details the wiring connections for automatic transmission vehicles.
EVO-ONE Module Connections:
- A1-A12: Main harness connections. Examples: A1 (Yellow) to (+)-Ignition, A8 (Dk.Blue) to (-)-Start/Stop, A11 (Black) to Hood Pin.
- E1-E6: Power and Ground connections. E3 (Red) to (+)-12V, E4 (Black) to (-)-Ground.
- C1-C5: CAN Bus connections (CAN LOW, CAN HIGH).
- D1-D6: Transponder/Key bypass connections. D3 (Yellow/Red) to (+)-Foot Brake.
Vehicle Connections:
- Push-to-Start Button: Connects to the EVO-ONE module via a 6-pin black connector.
- OBD-II Connector: Front view connection point.
- Driver Kick Panel: Connections via 17-pin blue and black connectors.
- Transponder Bypass Loop: Wrap 5 to 10 loops around the vehicle key or valet key and connect to the module.
Note: Cut the loop for automatic transmission mode.
Key Bypass Programming Procedure
Follow these steps to program the key bypass module:
- Step 1: Press and hold the programming button. Insert the 6-Pin Main connector. The LEDs will alternate between BLUE, RED, YELLOW & BLUE/RED flashes.
- Step 2: Release the programming button when the BLUE LED is ON. If the BLUE LED is not solid, disconnect the 6-Pin Main connector and return to Step 1.
- Step 3: Insert the required remaining connectors.
- Step 4: Do not press the brake pedal. Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn on the ignition. The BLUE LED will flash rapidly.
- Step 5: Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn off the ignition. The BLUE LED will turn off. The module is now programmed.
Remote Starter Functionality
To use the remote starter:
- Ensure all doors are closed.
- Initiate remote start.
- Unlock the doors using either the OEM remote, the remote-starter remote, or the door handle.
- Enter the vehicle with the Intelligent SmartKey.
- The vehicle is now ready to be put into gear and driven.
