The large LCD screen provides clear readings of:

Comfort Level Indicator
The monitor categorizes indoor comfort based on humidity:
- DRY: Humidity below 30%.
- COMFORT: Humidity between 30% and 60%.
- WET: Humidity above 60%.
Temperature and Humidity Trends
Visual indicators show the trend of temperature and humidity:
- [Upward Trend Symbol]: Indicates temperature and humidity are increasing.
- [Stable Trend Symbol]: Indicates temperature and humidity have no significant change.
- [Downward Trend Symbol]: Indicates temperature and humidity are decreasing.
Mounting Options
The TP-55 offers versatile placement solutions:
- Tabletop: Use the built-in stand for freestanding placement.
- Magnet-Mountable: Attach to metallic surfaces like refrigerators.
- Wall-Mounted: Utilize the integrated hanging hole for wall placement.
Touch Buttons
The device is operated using three intuitive touch buttons:
- °C/°F: Press this button to switch the temperature display unit between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
- < > (Backlight): Press this button to activate or deactivate the screen's backlight. The backlight will automatically turn off after 15 seconds of inactivity to conserve power.
- ALL TIME/24 HRs: This button allows you to view recorded maximum and minimum temperature and humidity values. You can toggle between "ALL TIME" (since the last reset) and "24 HRs" (in the past 24 hours). To reset all recorded maximum and minimum values, touch and hold the "ALL TIME/24 HRs" button for 3 seconds.
Battery Compartment
The unit is powered by two AAA batteries, housed in a compartment typically located on the back of the device.
Getting Started
Before First Use
- Install Batteries: Insert two AAA batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated.
- Water Caution: Do not immerse the product body in water.
- The humidity and temperature monitor is now ready for operation.
Care and Maintenance
- Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing the unit to extremely high or low temperatures, as this may damage the electronic components and plastic parts.
- Storage: If the device is to be stored for an extended period (more than four months), it is recommended to remove the batteries.
