General Warning
DANGER! This device contains electronic components that operate via a power source (power supply and/or batteries). Do not let children use the device unattended. Use only as described in the manual to avoid the risk of electric shock. Children should only use the device under adult supervision. Keep packaging material (plastic bags, rubber bands) out of reach of children as it poses a choking hazard.
Keep batteries out of reach of children. Ensure batteries are inserted correctly. Empty or damaged batteries can cause burns upon skin contact. Wear protective gloves if necessary.
DANGER! Do not expose the device to high temperatures. Use only recommended batteries. Do not short-circuit the device or batteries, or throw them into fire. Excessive heat or improper handling can trigger short-circuits, fires, or explosions!
NOTE! Do not disassemble the device. In case of a defect, contact your dealer. The dealer will contact the Service Centre for repair if necessary.
Always replace weak or empty batteries with a new, complete set of batteries at full capacity. Do not use batteries from different brands or with different capacities. Remove batteries if the unit will not be used for a long time.
Notes on Cleaning and Care
Before cleaning, separate the device from the power supply or remove the batteries.
Only use a dry cloth to clean the exterior. Do not use cleaning fluid to avoid damaging the electronics.
Do not leave the device exposed to extreme high or low temperatures, as this can damage plastic or electronic parts. Remove batteries if the device is stored for more than four months.
Device Description and Features
The ThermoPro TP-53 is an indoor humidity and temperature monitor with a large LCD display.
Device Components:
- Large LCD Display: Shows current humidity and temperature, and the maximum/minimum humidity/temperature recorded in the past or past 24 hours.
- SIDE View: Indicates the °C/°F selector, magnet for mounting, and stand for tabletop use.
- Backlight Touch Button: A button [backlight-button] to activate/deactivate the backlight.
- Battery Compartment: Holds 2 AAA batteries.
- Wall hanging hole: For wall mounting.

Operation
Touch Button: Touch once to turn the backlight on or off.
Two Buttons:
- °C/°F: Press once to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature display units.
- ALL TIME/24 HRs:
- Press to display the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity recorded since the last reset (ALL TIME option) or within the past 24 hours (24 HRs option).
- Press and hold the "ALL TIME/24 HRs" button for 3 seconds to reset/clear all recorded maximum and minimum temperature and humidity values.
Backlight: Touch the [backlight-button] to activate the backlight, and touch it again to turn it off. If the button is not touched for 15 seconds, the backlight will automatically turn off.
Temperature & Humidity Trend:
- ⬆️ indicates the temperature & humidity is in an increasing trend.
- ➡️ indicates the temperature & humidity is in a no change trend.
- ⬇️ indicates the temperature & humidity is in a decreasing trend.
Before First Use
- Insert or Replace Battery: Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+) and (-) as indicated.
- Do not immerse the product body in water.
- The humidity and temperature monitor is now ready to use.
Disposal and Environmental Protection
Meaning of the "Dustbin" Symbol [waste-bin-symbol]: Protect your environment. Do not dispose of electrical equipment with household waste.
- Please return any electrical equipment you no longer use to the designated collection points for disposal.
- This helps avoid potential negative effects on the environment and human health caused by incorrect disposal.
- This contributes to the recycling and reuse of electrical and electronic equipment.
- Information on where equipment can be disposed of can be obtained from your local authority.
Battery Disposal:
CAUTION: Batteries/rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste!
- Remove batteries from the appliance.
- Take used batteries to the appropriate collection point or to a dealer.
- Your town or local authority can provide information about public collection points.

Limited One-Year Warranty
ThermoPro warrants this product to be free of defects in parts, materials, and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
