FAQ
1. About the accuracy:
- ThermoPro hygrometers offer high accuracy for their price range. For laboratory-grade accuracy (within +/-1%), devices costing over $1000 are typically required. Compared to competitors, ThermoPro devices are accurate to within +/-3%, while others may be around +/-5%. Side-by-side comparisons might show a total accuracy difference of +/-8%. The most reliable test is to compare two ThermoPro devices; if their readings are within +/-6% of each other, the device is considered accurate.
2. About the humidity range: 10%~99%
- While ThermoPro hygrometers provide high accuracy for their price, in circumstances where humidity is below 10% (e.g., 5%), the device will display 10%. Only expensive laboratory equipment can accurately measure humidity below 10%. No device on the market can reliably read below 5%.
