Tips for Optimal Motion Detection

A. Camera Installation Based on Viewing Field

  1. Check your camera's viewing angle to ensure the monitoring area is well within its field of view.
  2. The ideal viewing distance is 2-10 meters for optimal recognition. For best results, avoid placing the camera too far or too high; the recommended height is 2.5 meters.

[Diagram: Illustration showing camera viewing field and distance]

B. Installation Based on PIR Motion Sensor Detection

  1. The PIR motion sensor detects motion within a maximum range of 10 meters and a 120° horizontal angle. Ensure movements are within this range to be detected.
  2. The PIR sensor is more sensitive to side-to-side movement than direct movement toward the camera.

Tips for Improving Detection Accuracy:

Night Vision

To adjust the night vision settings, launch the app and navigate to 'Settings → Image Settings → Full Color Mode.' You can choose from three night vision modes in the app.

Note: The night vision quality may be impacted by nearby obstacles. Please ensure there are no obstacles within 1 meter of the camera's horizontal field of view. Avoid placing the camera behind trees or around corners.
