INSTALLING THE CAMERA
- Perform a network diagnostic. Bring the camera to the intended installation area and open the app. Tap the 'Settings' icon in the lower right corner of the preview window. Go to 'Installation Guide' and tap it. Tap 'Next' until you reach the 'Network Diagnostic' page. For optimal experience, ensure the WiFi signal strength at the installation location remains 'Strong'.
- For optimal results, install the camera on a wall at a height of approximately 2.5 meters (8.2 feet) from the ground. Ensure there are no obstructions within a 1-meter (3.3 feet) radius of the camera's horizontal field of view. Avoid placing the camera behind trees or around corners, as this may affect night vision quality.
- Fix the wall mount to a perforated surface with screws.
- Before inserting the camera into the wall mount, please note that the upper lens can only be adjusted manually and allows for a 90° rotation to the left and right.
- Slide the camera into the wall mount until it clicks into place.
Installing the Solar Panel
For G6
- Fix the wall mount using the provided screw kit.
- Attach the solar panel to the mount and tighten to secure it.
- Adjust the panel's angle for optimal sun exposure. Facing south is recommended for maximum efficiency.
- Installation complete. Connect the cable to the camera.
For G6 PRO
- Camera and solar panel together on the wall mount: Align the solar panel with the mounting slot on the top of the wall mount. Adjust the solar panel's direction to face a well-lit area. Tighten the screw to fix it.
Solar Panel Fixed Directly to Wall
- Align the mounting plate on the wall and fix it using the provided screws. Ensure the panel is facing the light source before fully tightening the screws.
- Installation complete. Connect the cable to the camera.
Tips for Optimal Motion Detection:
A. Camera Installation Based on Field of View:
- Check your camera's viewing angle to ensure the surveillance area is within its field of view.
- The ideal viewing distance is 2 to 10 meters (6.5 to 33 feet) for optimal recognition. For best results, avoid placing the camera too high or too low; the recommended height is 2.5 meters (8.2 feet).
B. Installation Based on PIR Motion Sensor Detection:
- The PIR motion sensor detects motion within a maximum range of 10 meters (33 feet) with a horizontal angle of 120°. Ensure that movements occur within this range to be detected.
- The PIR sensor is more sensitive to side-to-side movements than direct movements towards the camera.
Tips for Reducing False Alerts
- Avoid installing the camera facing bright lights, including the sun or bright lamps.
- Do not point the camera lens directly at the road; it is recommended to place the camera at least 10 meters (33 feet) away from driveways or roads.
- Keep the camera away from vents, such as air conditioning vents, humidifiers, and projector vents.
- Avoid positioning the camera facing mirrors or glass surfaces.
- Keep the camera at least 1 meter (3.3 feet) away from any wireless devices, including Wi-Fi routers, to avoid interference.
Tips for Improving Detection Accuracy:
- Set the sensitivity level to high.
- Position the camera to capture side-to-side movements rather than direct approaches for better motion detection.
- Mount the camera at an optimal height of 2.5 meters (8.2 feet). Avoid placing it too low or too high, as this may hinder alert detection.
- Ensure the target is within the PIR sensor's ideal detection range of 2 to 10 meters (6.5 to 33 feet).
NIGHT VISION
To adjust night vision settings, launch the app and go to 'Settings → Image Settings → Full Color Mode'. You can choose from three night vision modes in the app.
Note: Night vision quality may be affected by nearby obstructions. Please ensure there are no obstructions within 1 meter (3.3 feet) of the camera's horizontal field of view. Avoid placing the camera behind trees or around corners.
RECORDING AND PLAYBACK
CZEview battery cameras only record when motion is detected, not continuously. Recordings can be saved to a Micro SD card (not included) or to the cloud (subscription required).
Before Recording:
I. For SD Card Users:
