Audiophony WP-1 Wall Pilot User Guide

This guide provides information on the Audiophony WP-1 Wall Pilot, a wall-mounted controller designed for professional installations.   7. Ventilation: Cooling grilles ensure safe use of this product and prevent any risk of overheating. Do not obstruct or cover these ventilation openings, as overheating and possible physical injury or product damage could occur. This product should never be used in a closed, unventilated area, such as a flight case or rack, unless ventilation grilles are provided for this purpose.
  8. Heat Exposure: Sustained contact or proximity to hot surfaces can cause overheating and product damage. Keep this product away from any heat source, such as heaters, amplifiers, hot plates, etc.
  9. Electrical Power: This product can only operate with a very specific voltage. This information is specified on the label on the back of the product.
  10. Power Cable Protection: Power cables should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by objects placed on or against them, paying particular attention to the cables at the plug, receptacles, and the point where they exit from the fixture.
  11. Cleaning Precautions: Unplug the product before performing any cleaning operations. This product should only be cleaned with accessories recommended by the manufacturer. Use a damp cloth to clean the surface. Do not wash this product.
  12. Long periods of inactivity: Disconnect the main power to the unit during prolonged periods of non-use.
  13. Penetration of liquids or objects: Do not allow any object to penetrate this product, as it could cause electric shock or fire. Never spill any liquid on this product, as it could seep into the electronic components and cause electric shock or fire.
  14. This product should be serviced when: Contact qualified service personnel if: - The power cord or plug is damaged. - Objects have fallen or liquid has been spilled into the apparatus. - The apparatus has been exposed to rain or water. - The product does not appear to operate normally. - The product is damaged.
  15. Inspection/Maintenance: Do not attempt any inspection or maintenance yourself. Entrust maintenance to qualified personnel.
  16. Operating Environment: Ambient temperature and humidity: +5 - +35°C, relative humidity should be less than 85% (when ventilation grilles are not obstructed). Do not use this product in an unventilated, very humid, or hot place.

The WP-1 is clearly intended for professional installations, and allows connecting an external player or a microphone to a channel. The volume controls are directly accessible on the controller, which is powered by the amplifier via RJ45 cables.

  1. LED ACTIVO and ON button: The ON button allows you to activate your WP-1. Once activated, the ACTIVE LED will light up orange. If your WP-1 is connected to an amplifier, this LED will light up green.
  2. Volume control knob: Allows adjustment of the output level.
  3. L and R Inputs: Allows connection of a line-level device, such as a CD player, etc.
  4. Microphone Input: Balanced XLR input. Allows connection of a dynamic microphone.

5 - Possible Configuration
