1 - Safety Information
Important Safety Information
This unit is intended for indoor use only. Avoid use in wet or extreme temperature locations. Failure to follow safety instructions may result in fire, electric shock, injury, or damage.
The product contains non-isolated electrical components. Do not perform maintenance while the unit is switched on to avoid electric shock. All maintenance must be performed by authorized CONTEST technical service. Basic cleaning should follow safety instructions.
WARNING: This unit contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not open the housing or attempt self-maintenance. Contact your nearest dealer for service. To prevent electrical malfunction, avoid using multi-sockets, power cord extensions, or connecting systems that are not perfectly isolated or may be defective.
Risk of Electrocution
To prevent electric shock hazards, ensure metal parts are out of reach when using extension cords, multi-sockets, or other connection systems.
Sound Levels
The audio solutions can deliver high sound pressure levels (SPL) that may be harmful with prolonged exposure. Avoid staying in close proximity to operating speakers.

6 - Presentation
Front Panel
The front panel features controls for input level setting, output channel selection, output level adjustment, and output LED indicators.
- 1. Input Level Setting: Adjusts levels for inputs 1 to 4, which can accept line or microphone sources. These inputs are mono.
- 2. Output Channel Selectors: Assign each input channel to one or more outputs.
- 3. Output Level Adjustment: Controls the output level for zones 1 to 4.
- 4. Output LED Indicators:
- SIG: Indicates the presence of an output signal.
- -10dB: Indicates a minimum output signal level.
- CLIP: Indicates an excessively high output level. Brief flashes are recommended to prevent distortion.
- 5. Output Equalization:
- HIGH: Adjusts treble frequencies (+/-15 dB at 12 kHz).
- LOW: Adjusts bass frequencies (+/-15 dB at 100 Hz).
- 6. Power Switch: Turns the unit on and off. The power LED indicates when the unit is on.
