myTouchSmart Wi-Fi Smart Devices Quick Start Guide and App Setup
Instructions for downloading the myTS app, setting up Wi-Fi smart devices, and integrating with voice assistants.
Getting to Know Your App
The myTS app allows you to control your smart home devices remotely.
Key App Features:
- Group Devices: Organize multiple devices into groups for simultaneous control and scheduling. Devices must be powered on to be controlled.
- Remote Control: Turn devices ON/OFF or adjust settings like dimming remotely.
- Device Management: Edit device names and pictures for easy identification.
- Scheduling: Set ON/OFF timer programs for your devices.
Voice Control Integration
Connect your myTouchSmart devices with popular voice assistants.
Amazon Alexa:
- Open the Amazon Alexa app.
- Enable the myTS skill.
- Ask Alexa to "Find new devices" to link your myTS devices.
- To add more devices later, say, "Alexa, find new devices."
Google Assistant:
- Open the Google Home app.
- Tap the Home icon, then the Add icon, and select "Set up device."
- Tap "Have something already set up?"
- Search for "myts," select the myTS icon, and follow the prompts.
- To add more devices later, say, "Okay, Google, sync my devices."

Device Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your Wi-Fi smart device.
1. Download the myTS App
Download the myTS app from the Apple [App Store] or Google [Google Play] by searching for “myTS” or “myTouchSmart.”
2. Create Account
Enter your email address and create a password. Note: Read and agree to terms of service.
3. Install Device
Install the Wi-Fi Smart Dimmer following the provided wiring manual. The blue LED will blink quickly to indicate the device is ready to be added to your router network.
Reset Procedure: If the LED is flashing slowly, slide the switch at the bottom to the left. While pressing the top rocker paddle, slide the switch to the right and hold the paddle for 10 seconds to reset the device. The LED will flash solid for 3 seconds and then begin flashing quickly. The device is now reset. Once connected to the router network, the rocker paddle can turn the connected light ON/OFF.
4. Find New Device
Tap "Find New Device" in the myTS app to connect your new Wi-Fi device.
5. Wi-Fi Connection
The app displays the phone's Wi-Fi network connection – this must be a 2.4GHz network. Enter the password for the Wi-Fi network and select "OK."
6. Adding Device
Once the device is discovered, select it and press "Connect."
If the device is not discovered, the app will display "No new devices found." Verify your Wi-Fi password, ensure the dimmer's LED is blinking quickly, and confirm the Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Select "OK" and repeat step 5.
