Getting to Know Your myTS App

The myTS app allows you to control your smart devices remotely and set up schedules and automations.

Pair with Amazon Alexa

1. Open the Amazon Alexa app.
2. Enable the myTS skill.
3. Ask Alexa to "Find new devices" to link to your myTS devices.
4. To add devices after initial setup, say, "Alexa, find new devices."

Pair with Google Assistant

1. Open the Google Home app.
2. Tap the Home icon.
3. Touch the Add icon ➕ followed by "Set up device."
4. Tap "Have something already set up?"
5. Type "myts" into the search bar, press the myTS icon, then follow the prompts to complete setup.
6. To add devices after initial setup, say, "Okay, Google, sync my devices."

Device Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your myTouchSmart Wi-Fi device:

1. Step 1: Download myTS App

   Download the myTS app from the Apple® App Store or Google Play by searching "myTS" or "myTouchSmart."

2. Step 2: Create Account

   Enter your email address and create a password. Note: Be sure to read and agree to the terms of service. [Agreement checkbox implied]

3. Step 3: Install Device

   Install the Wi-Fi Smart Plug into the desired outlet. The blue LED will blink rapidly ⚡ to indicate the device is ready to be added to your router network.

   Note: If the LED is flashing slowly, press and hold the button for 10 seconds to reset the device. The LED will flash solid for 3 seconds and then begin flashing rapidly. The device is reset.

   Once connected to the router network, the button can turn the connected light on or off.

4. Step 4: Find New Device

   Tap "Find New Device" ? in the myTS app to connect your new Wi-Fi device.

5. Step 5: Wi-Fi Connection

   The app will display your phone's Wi-Fi network connection. Ensure it is a 2.4GHz network. Enter the password for your Wi-Fi network and select "OK." ?

6. Step 6: Adding Device

   Once the device is discovered, select it and press "Connect." ✔️

   If the device is not discovered, the app will display "No new devices found." Verify your Wi-Fi password, ensure the device's LED is blinking quickly, and confirm the Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Select "OK" and repeat Step 5.

   For information about your Wi-Fi network, check your router markings or contact your service provider.

7. Step 7: Manual Setup

   If the connection fails, the app prompts for manual setup. Tap "Manual" ⚙️ and follow the instructions. Refer to Step 3 if the blue LED is not blinking quickly. When the device is reset and the LED flashes rapidly, follow the app's prompts for the specific button press process. The LED will flash in groups of three to indicate the device is in manual setup mode.
