myTouchSmart Wi-Fi Smart Devices Quick Start Guide
This guide provides instructions for setting up and using your myTouchSmart Wi-Fi smart devices, including app control, voice integration, and troubleshooting.
Getting to Know Your myTS App
The myTS app allows you to control your Wi-Fi smart devices remotely. You can turn devices ON/OFF, dim lights, edit device names and pictures, and set ON/OFF timer programs.
Key App Features:
- Remote Control: Turn devices ON/OFF or adjust dimming levels remotely.
- Device Customization: Edit device names and pictures for easy identification.
- Scheduling: Set ON/OFF timer programs for automated control.
- Device Grouping: Group multiple devices to control them simultaneously. Add devices to a group to easily control and set programs for multiple lights. Connected devices must be turned ON to be controlled by the app.
Voice Control Integration
Your myTouchSmart devices can be controlled using voice commands through popular smart assistants.
Pairing with Amazon Alexa
To connect your devices with Amazon Alexa:
- Open the Amazon Alexa app.
- Enable the "myTS" skill.
- Ask Alexa to "Find new devices" to link your myTS devices.
- After initial setup, you can say, "Alexa, find new devices" to add more.
Pairing with Google Home
To connect your devices with Google Home:
- Open the Google Home app.
- Tap the Home icon.
- Touch the Add icon, then select "Set up device."
- Tap "Have something already set up?"
- Type "myts" into the search bar, select the myTS icon, and follow the prompts to complete setup.
- After initial setup, you can say, "Okay, Google, sync my devices" to add more.

Setup Guide: Step-by-Step
Follow these steps to set up your myTouchSmart Wi-Fi device.
Download myTS App
Download the myTS app from the Apple® App Store or Google Play Store by searching for "myTS" or "myTouchSmart."

Create Account
Enter your email address and create a password. Be sure to read and agree to the terms of service.

Install Device
Install the Wi-Fi smart dimmer following the provided wiring manual. The blue LED will blink quickly to indicate the device is ready to be added to your router network.
Note on LED Status: If the LED is flashing slowly, slide the switch at the bottom to the left. While pressing the top rocker paddle, slide the switch to the right and hold for 10 seconds to reset the device. The LED will flash solid for 3 seconds and then begin flashing quickly, indicating the device is reset.
Once connected to the router network, the rocker paddle can turn the connected light ON/OFF and adjust brightness.

Find New Device
In the myTS app, tap "Find New Device" to connect your new Wi-Fi device.

Wi-Fi Connection
The app will display your phone's Wi-Fi network connection. Ensure it is a 2.4GHz network. Enter the password for your Wi-Fi network and select "OK."

Adding Device
Once the device is discovered, select it and press "Connect."
If the device is not discovered, the app will display "No new devices found." Verify your Wi-Fi password, ensure the dimmer's LED is blinking quickly, and confirm the Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Select "OK" and repeat step 5.
For information about your Wi-Fi network, check your router markings or contact your service provider.

Manual Setup
If the connection fails, the app will prompt for manual setup. Tap "Manual" and follow the instructions. Refer to step 3 if the blue LED is not blinking quickly. When the device is reset and the LED flashes rapidly, follow the app's prompts for the specific button press process. The LED will flash in groups of three to indicate the device is in manual setup mode.
