Assembly Guide

Follow these steps to assemble your IKEA BESTÅ TV bench:

1. Step 1: Attach the 6 adjustable feet to the underside of the base panels.
2. Step 2: Assemble the main frame by connecting the base panels and side panels using screws and cam lock mechanisms.
3. Step 3: Attach wall mounting brackets to the side panels of the unit.
4. Step 4: Slide the back panels into the grooves on the rear of the assembled frame.
5. Step 5: Secure the main top panel to the frame using the cam lock system.
6. Step 6: Attach the primary wall mounting brackets to the top rear edge of the assembled unit.
7. Step 7: Insert the vertical support panels into their designated slots within the unit.
8. Step 8: Secure the vertical supports using the cam lock system.
9. Step 9: Place the internal divider panels into their positions.
10. Step 10: Attach the final top surface of the unit.
11. Step 11: Install internal clips and route cables through the designated channels inside the unit.
12. Step 12: Connect the two main sections of the unit together.
13. Step 13: Attach the final top panel or surface.
14. Step 14: Secure the back mounting rails to the rear of the unit.
15. Step 15: Tidy up and secure all internal cables.
16. Step 16: Adjust the feet to ensure the unit is stable and level on the floor.
17. Step 17: Position the unit against the wall where it will be installed.
18. Step 18: Mount the unit securely to the wall using the provided brackets and hardware. This process may involve components from the UPPLEVA system. Ensure you use appropriate wall fixings for your specific wall type.
19. Step 19: Complete the wall attachment process by following the detailed instructions for securing the unit to the wall.
