Step 2: Prepare Vertical Panels
Insert 16 wooden dowels into the pre-drilled holes along the edges of the two side panels and the two internal dividers.
Step 3: Connect Vertical Panels to Bottom
Align the dowels on the side panels and internal dividers with the corresponding holes on the bottom panel. Press down firmly to connect them.
Step 4: Attach Top Panel
Insert 4 cam lock nuts into the large holes on the underside of the top panel. Place the top panel onto the assembled structure, aligning the cam lock screws with the cam lock nuts. Use a screwdriver ? to turn the cam lock nuts clockwise to secure the top panel.
Step 5: Add Corner Reinforcements
Attach the 2 corner pieces to the top and bottom panels using 4 small screws for each piece (total 8 small screws). These provide structural support.
Step 6: Insert Internal Dividers
Slide the remaining internal dividers into their designated positions within the unit.
Step 7: Secure Internal Dividers
Insert cam lock screws into the pre-drilled holes on the internal dividers. Then, insert cam lock nuts into the corresponding holes on the adjacent panels and turn them clockwise with a screwdriver ? to secure the dividers.
Step 8: Install Back Panels
Slide the thin back panels into the grooves along the back edges of the assembled unit. Ensure they are seated correctly.
Step 9: Attach Top Decorative Panel
Place the long top decorative panel onto the unit. Secure it using the provided connectors (likely cam locks or screws).
Step 10: Reinforce Main Structure
Insert 4 cam lock screws into specific points on the unit and secure them with cam lock nuts. This reinforces the overall structure.
Step 11: Attach Top Edge Strips
Slide the decorative edge strips onto the top front edges of the unit.
Step 12: Attach Bottom Edge Strips
Slide the decorative edge strips onto the bottom front edges of the unit.
Step 13: Install Shelf Supports
Insert 12 shelf supports (small metal pins) into the pre-drilled holes on the inside surfaces of the unit at your desired shelf heights.
Step 14: Cable Management
Route any necessary cables (e.g., for electronics) through the designated openings or channels at the back of the unit.
Step 15: Secure Cables
Use the provided clips or ties to secure the cables neatly at the back of the unit, preventing them from dangling.
Step 16: Level the Unit
Adjust the feet by turning them to ensure the unit is level on your floor. This is important for stability.
Step 17: Level the Unit (Continued)
Continue adjusting the feet as needed to achieve a stable and level unit.
Step 18: Secure Unit to Wall ?
Crucial Step for Safety:
Attach the provided wall brackets to the top rear of the unit using screws. Then, mark the wall, drill holes (using appropriate wall plugs and screws for your wall type), and securely fasten the unit to the wall. This prevents tip-over.
Step 19: Insert Shelves
Place the shelves onto the installed shelf supports at your desired heights.
