Welcome to your Tefal Goodvibes body composition scale. This smart scale utilizes BIA (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis) technology to provide insights into your body composition and Bluetooth ? technology to connect with your smartphone.
Getting Started
Inserting Batteries
Open the battery compartment, typically located on the underside of the scale. Insert 3 x AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment. The scale requires 3 x AAA batteries.
Downloading the Tefal Health & Fitness App
To unlock the full functionality of your scale, download the free Tefal Health & Fitness app. Search for "Tefal Health & Fitness" on your smartphone's app store (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store). The app is compatible with iOS 8 and above, and Android 5 and above.
Connecting Your Scale
- Launch the Tefal Health & Fitness app on your smartphone.
- Turn on the scale by stepping on it.
- Follow the in-app instructions to connect your scale via Bluetooth. This usually involves searching for and selecting your scale from a list of available devices.
- Once connected, set your weighing units (kg, st.lb, or st) and height units (cm or inch) within the app.
- Register your user profile in the app to personalize your experience and track your data.
Using the Scale for Accurate Measurements
For the most accurate and consistent results, follow these guidelines:
- Consistency is Key: Weigh yourself at the same time of day, preferably twice a week, and ideally 15 minutes after waking up. Maintain the same conditions for each measurement.
- Avoid Measurement Under Certain Conditions: ⚠️
- During or immediately after strenuous physical activity.
- Immediately after showering, bathing, or using a sauna.
- After consuming a significant amount of alcohol.
- During pregnancy.
- If you have a fever.
- Proper Stance: Stand straight and barefoot on the scale. Wearing socks or having dirty feet can negatively impact measurement accuracy.

Measurements and Data Analysis
After each measurement, the data will be displayed on the scale and synced to the Tefal Health & Fitness app. The app allows you to view your body composition data, track trends over time, and analyze your progress.

Battery Replacement and Warnings
Replacing Batteries
When the scale indicates low battery power, or if it stops functioning, replace the batteries. Open the battery compartment and insert 3 new AAA batteries, observing correct polarity. The scale uses 3 x LR03 AAA alkaline batteries.
Battery Warnings:
- Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Do not mix new and used batteries or different types of batteries.
- Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.
- Remove empty batteries from the device and dispose of them safely.
- If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries.
- Do not short-circuit the power supply terminal.
Scale Indicators
- Normal Operation: The scale will display your weight and sync data to the app.
- Error Display ('Err'): This may indicate an issue, such as the scale being overloaded or an internal error. Try removing and reinserting the batteries or ensuring the scale is on a flat, stable surface.
- Weight Limits: The scale has a minimum weight capacity of 8 kg and a maximum weight capacity of 180 kg.
