Introduction
Thank you for choosing the TEFAL GOODVIBES body composition Scale. This product employs BIA (bioelectrical impedance analysis) technology for your body composition data and Bluetooth technology to connect the scale to your smartphone. For accurate and consistent measurement results, use the scale at the same time (preferably twice a week, 15 minutes after waking up) and under the same conditions.
Avoid measurements:
- During or immediately after strenuous exercises
- Immediately after a shower, bath, or sauna
- With heavy alcohol consumption
- During pregnancy
- During fever
During the measurement, stand straight and barefoot. Wearing socks or having dirty feet can affect the measurement accuracy. The scale should not be used to diagnose or treat any medical condition. All data is for reference and cannot be a substitute for advice from a licensed healthcare professional.
Getting Started
1. Battery Installation
Insert 3 x LR03 AAA batteries. Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.
WARNING:
- Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Do not mix new and used batteries or different types of batteries.
- Ensure that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries.
- Empty batteries must be removed from the device and disposed of in a safe manner.
- Remove batteries from a device if it is not intended to be used for a long period.
- Do not short-circuit the power supply terminal.
2. Download and Connect the App
Download the free Tefal app to connect your scale to your smartphone via Bluetooth.
Configuration:
- Launch the App.
- Set the weighing units (kg / st.lb / st) and height units (cm / inch).
- Register your profile user.
The app is available for iOS 8 and later, and Android™ 5 and later.
Measurements and Data Analysis
Step onto the scale barefoot and stand straight. The scale will automatically turn on. Wait until all data is displayed in the App before stepping off.
The scale has a minimum weight capacity of 8 kg and a maximum weight capacity of 160 kg.
Note: Automatic shut-off after a period of inactivity.
Battery Replacement
Follow the diagrams to replace the batteries. Ensure correct polarity.
ATTENTION:
- Non-rechargeable batteries should not be recharged.
- Do not mix different types of batteries, or new and used batteries.
- Insert batteries according to the correct polarity.
- Empty batteries should be removed from the device and disposed of safely.
- If the device is to be stored for a long period without use, remove the batteries.
- Power terminals should not be short-circuited.
