Installation and Service Procedures
General Precautions
Important: Do not connect the valve directly to an AC/DC power source. Ensure the valve is connected only to an appropriate controller or driver. Avoid operating the valve during assembly or disassembly.
Brazing Instructions
When brazing, observe the following temperature limits: maximum 110 °C / 230 °F for the coil and maximum 700 °C / 1300 °F for the valve body. It is recommended to use N2 gas flowing from the opposite side of the soldering point to protect the valve during brazing.
Assembly and Disassembly
The guide provides detailed steps for both disassembling and assembling the valve. Specific component part numbers are referenced, including 034G2088, 034G2344, 034G2345, and 034G2346. A prominent warning symbol highlights important safety considerations throughout these procedures.
When assembling, ensure correct torque is applied: 50 Nm (36 ft-lbf) with a 30° angle for certain connections. Key dimensions for assembly include 27 mm (1 1/16 in.) for certain connections and 24 mm (1 in.).
Electrical Connection
The valve utilizes an M12 connector for electrical connection. The stepper motor wiring requires an electrical check. Coil I has a resistance of 52 Ω, and Coil II also has a resistance of 52 Ω. The pinout for the M12 connector cable is as follows: Pin 1 (Red), Pin 2 (Green), Pin 3 (White), Pin 4 (Black).
