Important Warnings
- ⚠️ WARNING: Do not connect directly to AC/DC power source. Connect the valve only to an appropriate controller/driver. Do not operate the valve while assembling or disassembling.
- Maximum brazing temperature: 110 °C / 230 °F.
- Maximum valve body temperature: 700 °C / 1300 °F.
Installation Instructions
The following steps outline the general installation process. Refer to specific diagrams for detailed visual guidance.
Step 1: Valve Assembly
Assemble the valve components. This involves attaching the stepper motor assembly to the valve body. Ensure parts are correctly aligned and secured, potentially by screwing them together (indicated by '1-2 x' in diagrams).
Step 2: System Connection
Connect the assembled valve to the refrigeration system. Diagrams illustrate inserting specific components or seals into the valve housing.
Step 3: Securing Components
Secure the assembled valve and its components. This may involve tightening fittings or housings.
Step 4: Final Tightening and Electrical Connection
Perform final tightening of connections using appropriate tools. A 27 mm (1 1/16 in.) wrench is used for some connections, and a 24 mm (1 in.) wrench for others. A torque of 50 Nm (36 ft-lbf) is specified for a 30° turn on certain fittings.
The valve features an M12 connector cable for electrical connection. The stepper motor is bipolar and has two coils, each with a resistance of 52 Ω. An electrical check of the stepper motor and wiring is recommended. The M12 connector has four pins: 1 (Red), 2 (Green), 3 (White), 4 (Black).
Valve States
The valve can operate in two primary states: 'Closed' or 'Fully open'. Diagrams illustrate these operational positions.
