Connections
5-Pin Harness Description
The 5-pin harness includes the following connections:
- VCC: 4.5-20V DC input (Red wire)
- VID: Video output (Yellow wire)
- GND: Ground (Black wire)
- VSEN: Voltage Sense (Blue wire) - Connect this cable where you want to detect the voltage.
- OSD: OSD control (White wire)
Camera-Video Transmitter Connection
To connect the camera directly to the video transmitter, plug the 3-pin wiring harness from the video transmitter into the camera, leaving the OSD pin open.
Camera-OSD Switch Connection
This section describes the physical connections for the camera and OSD switch board.
Diagram Description:
- A 3-pin connector from the video transmitter connects to the camera's video output.
- A 2-pin connector from the OSD switch board connects to the camera's OSD pins.
- The OSD switch board has connections labeled: VBAT+, OSD, VID, GND, VSEN.
- The camera back is labeled for S-WDR CAMERA.
- The OSD switch front has control buttons: UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, MENU.
ℹ️ NOTICE: It is recommended to use a power distribution board.
❗ CAUTION: If you are using ESCs with active braking, we recommend powering the camera system through a BEC or voltage regulator.
FPV OSD Setup
Press and hold the top button for 3 seconds to access the OSD menu.
Main Menu Navigation
- MENU: Push the center button to go to the main menu.
- UP/DOWN: Move up and down through the menu options.
- Left/Right: Modify the menu parameters.
OSD Menu Structure
The main menu includes the following options:
- SETUP MENU: Accesses detailed settings.
- EXIT: Exits the menu.
Setup Menu Options:
- CAMERA ID: [On/Off] - Allows setup of pilot name and position.
- PICT ADJUST: Adjusts picture settings like brightness, contrast, etc.
- DAY/NIGHT: Sets camera mode for different lighting conditions.
- LANGUAGE: Selects the menu language.
- CAMERA RESET: Resets camera settings to default.
Detailed Settings Explained
1. Camera ID
Camera ID: [On/Off]. You can set the pilot name and its position on the screen.
Example display shows fields for CAMERA ID, FOXEER, time, and character selection for name and position.
2. PICT ADJUST
Adjusts the following picture parameters:
- FLIP: Options: OFF, H-FLIP, V-FLIP, HV-FLIP.
- BRIGHTNESS: Adjusts image brightness.
- CONTRAST: Adjusts image contrast.
- SHARPNESS: Adjusts image sharpness.
- HUE: Adjusts color tint.
- COLOR GAIN: Adjusts color saturation.
3. DAY/NIGHT
This setting includes 'AUTO' and 'MANUAL' modes. In 'MANUAL' mode, you can permanently set the camera to 'COLOR' or 'B/W' (Black/White).
Quick switch: At standby status, long press the right button on the OSD board to fast change the MODE. The current mode will show once at the TIMER place.
4. LANGUAGE
Supports 7 languages:
- ENGLISH

- PORTUGUES
- ESPANOL
- 中文 (Chinese)
5. Camera Reset
Resets camera settings.
6. EXIT
Options for saving changes:
- Save All: Saves all setup configurations.
- Not Save: Temporarily saves values, but they are lost upon power off.
- Cancel: Cancels the current setup.
OSD Menu Configuration Items
These are specific settings configurable within the OSD menu:
- DISPLAY
- 1. TIME: [On/Off]
- 2. POWER: [On/Off]
- 3. VOL ALARM: You can set a voltage threshold. Use the LEFT/RIGHT buttons to decrease or increase the value. The default is 3.6V.
- 4. V CAL: Voltage calibration, with a range from -0.5 to 0.5.
- 5. MODE: Options include DAY, NIGHT, LED, and B&W.
- 6. N/P: NTSC/PAL switchable.
- 7. SIZE: 4:3 / 16:9 switchable.
- 8. VER: FOXEER_V4.0.
