Connections
Camera-OSD Switch Connection
This section details how to connect the camera to the OSD switch board. The camera has a 3-pin connector and the OSD switch board has a 2-pin connector.
Camera 3-Pin Connector:
- VBAT+: Power input (Red wire).
- GND: Ground (Black wire).
- VID: Video output (Yellow wire).
- VSEN: Voltage Sense input (Blue wire) - Connect this to a voltage source you wish to detect.
- OSD: OSD data (White wire).
OSD Switch Board 2-Pin Connector: Connects to the camera's OSD pin.
CAUTION: If using ESCs with active braking, it is recommended to power the camera system through a BEC or voltage regulator.
Camera-Video Transmitter Connection
To connect the camera directly to the video transmitter, plug the 3-pin wiring harness from the video transmitter into the camera. Leave the OSD pin disconnected.
FPV OSD Setup
To access the OSD (On-Screen Display) menu, press and hold the top button on the OSD board for 3 seconds.
OSD Menu Options:
- TIME:
- ON/OFF - Controls the display of time.
- POWER:
- ON/OFF - Controls the display of power status.
- VOL ALARM:
- Set a low voltage alarm threshold. Use Left/Right buttons to adjust. Default is 3.6V.
- V CAL:
- Voltage calibration. Range: -0.5V to +0.5V.
- MODE:
- Select display mode: DAY, NIGHT, LED, or B&W. A quick switch is available by long-pressing the right button on the OSD board in standby status. The current mode will briefly display.
- N/P:
- Select video standard: NTSC or PAL.
- SIZE:
- Select aspect ratio: 4:3 or 16:9.
- CROSSHAIRS:
- ON/OFF - Toggles the display of crosshairs.
- VER:
- Displays the firmware version (e.g., FOXEER_V5.0).
Camera Features
1. Camera ID
Enable/disable Camera ID display. Allows setup of pilot name and position on screen.
Setup: Navigate to Camera ID in the menu. Select ON/OFF. Use the on-screen keyboard to input pilot name and adjust position using Left/Right and Up/Down controls.

2. Pict Adjust (Picture Adjustment)
Adjust various picture settings for optimal viewing.
- FLIP: OFF / H-FLIP / V-FLIP / HV-FLIP
- BRIGHTNESS: Adjust brightness level (e.g., 122).
- CONTRAST: Adjust contrast level (e.g., 136).
- SHARPNESS: Adjust sharpness level (e.g., 160).
- HUE: Adjust hue level (e.g., 090).
- COLOR GAIN: Adjust color gain level (e.g., 136).
Use Left/Right buttons to adjust values. [Return]
to exit.
3. Day/Night Mode
Select between automatic or manual day/night modes.
- AUTO: The camera automatically adjusts to lighting conditions.
- MANUAL: Allows permanent selection of "COLOR" or "B/W" (Black and White) image.
Navigate to DAY/NIGHT in the menu. Select AUTO or MANUAL. If MANUAL, choose COLOR or B/W.
4. Language
The camera supports multiple languages:
- English
- Deutsch (German)
- Français (French)
- Русский (Russian)
- Português (Portuguese)
- Español (Spanish)
- 中文 (Chinese)
5. Camera Reset
Options for resetting camera settings:
- Save All: Save all current settings.
- Not Save: Temporarily save settings, but they will be lost upon power off.
- Cancel: Cancel the setup process.
6. Exit
Exit the menu system. Choose to save changes or discard them.
