How to Use Avantree Lock
The Avantree Lock can function as either a Bluetooth transmitter or a Bluetooth receiver, offering versatile audio connectivity.
As a Bluetooth Transmitter:
Transmit audio wirelessly from your source device to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
Connecting to Audio Sources:
- PC: Connect via USB for digital audio and power, or use the 3.5mm AUX or Optical audio outputs.
- TV: Connect via Optical audio output, 3.5mm AUX output, or RCA audio outputs.
- Car Stereo: Connect via the car stereo's AUX 3.5mm input, RCA input, or 3.5mm input.
Connecting to Destination Devices:
Pair the Avantree Lock with your Bluetooth headphones or speakers. It supports connecting to two devices simultaneously, ideal for sharing audio.
As a Bluetooth Receiver:
Receive audio wirelessly from a Bluetooth-enabled source (like a smartphone or tablet) and output it to wired devices.

- No Bluetooth Connection: Make sure the Avantree Lock is in pairing mode (blue flashing LED). Ensure your Bluetooth headphones or speaker are also discoverable and in pairing mode. Check that both devices are within the recommended Bluetooth range. Try restarting both the Avantree Lock and the Bluetooth device.
- Audio Delay (Lip Sync Issues): For the best experience with minimal delay, ensure that both the Avantree Lock and your Bluetooth headphones/speaker support the aptX Low Latency codec. If either device does not support it, some delay may be unavoidable.
- Low Volume: Adjust the volume levels on the Avantree Lock, the audio source device, and the connected Bluetooth device.
- Difficulty Connecting Two Devices: Ensure both Bluetooth devices are compatible and within range of the Avantree Lock.
