Set Up
Connecting to TV
The Oasis Plus 2 requires a power source to function. Connect the transmitter using the provided Type C power cable to either:
- A TV's USB power port (recommended for automatic power ON/OFF synchronization with the TV).
- A nearby wall outlet using a 5V/500mA-2A rated USB adapter (most phone chargers will work). For assistance, contact support@avantree.com.
Once powered on, switch the transmitter to the "ON" position using the ON/OFF switch. You can then connect the transmitter to your TV's audio ports using one of three methods:
Option 1: Optical Port (Recommended)
Connect one end of the provided digital optical audio cable to the TV's "OPTICAL OUT" or "OPT OUT" port. Connect the other end to the transmitter's optical port labeled "TX INPUT FROM TV".
Note: Most TVs support audio output through only one digital output port at a time. If your TV's HDMI ARC port is in use, the optical port may be disabled. Consider disconnecting the HDMI ARC device or connecting via RCA/AUX instead.
Option 2: AUX 3.5mm Port
Connect one end of the provided AUX 3.5mm audio cable to the TV's AUX 3.5mm output port. Connect the other end to the transmitter's AUX 3.5mm port labeled "TX INPUT FROM TV".
Option 3: RCA Port
Plug the red and white RCA connectors into the TV's "AUDIO OUT" ports. Use the provided RCA to AUX adapter to connect the other end to the transmitter's AUX port.
Note: Ensure optical/RCA cables are plugged into the TV's audio OUT ports, not the AUDIO IN or COMPONENT IN ports.
Connecting Your Headphones
Once the Oasis Plus 2 is connected to your TV, you can connect your Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
Step 1: Power On
Ensure both the Oasis Plus 2 and your headphones/speakers are powered on.
Step 2: Enter Pairing Mode
For first-time use, the Oasis Plus 2 automatically enters PAIRING MODE. For subsequent use, press and hold the [headphones-icon] button on the transmitter for 2 seconds until the corresponding LED flashes green and white alternately.
Step 3: Pair Headphones
Put your Bluetooth headphones or speakers into PAIRING mode. Refer to your device's user manual for specific instructions.
Step 4: Connect
Keep the Oasis Plus 2 and your device close together. Connection typically takes 5-10 seconds. Once connected, the [headphones-icon] indicator on the transmitter will turn solid white.
Note 1: Connection failures often occur if the device is not properly in PAIRING MODE. Verify your device's LED indicators (often alternate red/blue flashes) and consult its manual.
Note 2: Some smart TVs may prompt to connect Bluetooth devices. If your TV prompts to connect your headphones or the Oasis Plus 2, please select "DENY" to ensure proper pairing with the transmitter.
Example TV Prompt: A graphic shows a TV screen with "Avantree Oasis Plus 2 - Your permission is required to connect your device to TV." with options "Allow", "Deny", and "Close".
Setting Up Your TV
(FOR OPTICAL CONNECTIONS ONLY)
If you connected your TV via the optical OUT port, you may need to configure your TV's audio settings to receive audio.
Step 1: Access TV Settings
Using your TV's remote, press the SETTINGS button and navigate to the AUDIO tab. Setting names may vary by TV brand.
Step 2: Select Audio Output
Proceed to AUDIO OUTPUT and select "OPTICAL OUT / DIGITAL OUT". Many TVs configure this automatically.
Step 3: Set Audio Format
Set the Audio Output format to "PCM / STEREO" or turn "DOLBY" OFF.
Example TV Settings: Graphics show TV menu selections for "Sound Audio Out" set to "Optical Out" and "Digital Audio Format" set to "PCM/Stereo" or "Dolby - OFF".

Advanced Features
Adding a Second Pair of Headphones
You can connect and listen with two pairs of headphones simultaneously. For a video guide, visit avantree.com/oasis-plus-2/video.
Step 1: Pair First Headphones
Pair your first pair of headphones following the instructions in the "Connecting Your Headphones" section (Page 11).
Step 2: Enter Pairing Mode Again
Once the first device is connected, put the Oasis Plus 2 into PAIRING MODE again by pressing and holding the [headphones-icon] button until the LED flashes GREEN and WHITE alternately.
Step 3: Pair Second Headphones
Put your second pair of Bluetooth headphones/speakers into PAIRING mode. Consult their respective user manuals for details.
Step 4: Connect Second Device
Keep the Oasis Plus 2 and the second device close together. Connection typically takes 5-10 seconds. The [headphones-icon] indicator will turn solid white upon successful connection.
Note: The dual headphone feature works with most headphones, but compatibility may vary, especially with certain true wireless earbuds.
Reconnecting Your Headphones
Your Bluetooth headphones/speakers should automatically reconnect to the Oasis Plus 2 when both devices are turned on after initial pairing. This may take a few seconds.
If automatic reconnection fails after 5-10 seconds, you can manually initiate it by pressing the Oasis Plus 2's Pairing button once. If still unsuccessful, try initiating reconnection from your audio device (usually by pressing its main Bluetooth PLAY button).
Note: If you paired your headphones with a different Bluetooth device previously, turn off Bluetooth on that device. For example, AirPods prioritize iPhones; turn off your iPhone's Bluetooth when pairing AirPods with the Oasis Plus 2.
Listening with a Soundbar
The Oasis Plus 2 features a pass-through function, allowing audio to be sent to both headphones and an external soundbar/stereo AVR simultaneously.
Step 1: Connect Output Cable
Plug an additional optical or 3.5mm AUX cable into the "OUTPUT TO SPEAKER" port on the transmitter.
Step 2: Connect to Sound System
Plug the other end of the cable into your external sound system.
Diagram Description: Shows the Oasis Plus 2 connected to a TV (Input From TV). An additional cable runs from the transmitter's "Output To Speaker" port to a "Sound System" (e.g., speakers or soundbar).
Note: The bypass function requires the same type of input and output connection. If you connect your TV via OPTICAL, you must connect your speaker via OPTICAL as well.
Using the Remote
To adjust volume, simply press the [volume-up] and [volume-down] buttons on the remote. Ensure the remote is pointed towards the infrared window on the front of the Oasis Plus 2, within 4 meters and without obstructions.
Battery Replacement: If the remote loses power, replace the battery with a CR2025 3V Lithium battery. Use a coin, button cell, or slotted screwdriver to turn the cap counterclockwise, replace the battery, and then turn the cap back.

FAQ
Below are some of the most common questions people have during setup.
Can I have audio through both my TV speakers and my wireless headphones at the same time?
This depends on whether your TV supports simultaneous audio output to two sources. You can test your TV's capabilities or refer to avantree.com/oasis-plus-2/sound for more details.
Why am I getting audio delay?
Both the sender (Oasis Plus 2) and receiver (your Bluetooth headphones) must support aptX Low Latency or aptX adaptive to eliminate audio delay. Check your device specifications for codec support. Note that most true wireless earbuds do not currently support these low-latency codecs.
Other Tips
If your TV's HDMI ARC port is in use, your optical audio output might not work. Try connecting the transmitter via RCA/AUX or unplugging the HDMI ARC.
Why aren't I getting sound from my headphones?
