Warranty Information
For service, consult the dealer where the product was purchased or contact a local UTV STEREO dealer. Units received without a return authorization number will not be processed. To obtain a return authorization number, contact your UTV Stereo dealer or UTV Stereo directly. A copy of the purchase receipt from an authorized UTV Stereo dealer is required for in-warranty service consideration. Units received without a receipt will be held for 30 days to allow time to obtain a copy of the receipt. After 30 days, all units will be returned. Product Overview
This manual provides instructions for installing the UTV Stereo 2nd Battery Kit for the Polaris Ranger. The kit is designed for UTV, Powersports, and Marine applications.

Installation Instructions
Preparation:
- Raise the bed of the vehicle to access the battery compartment.
- Remove the 3 plastic clips shown.
- Remove the 3 bolts shown.
- Remove the 2 hex bolts on the side step.
- Remove the single hex bolt shown.
- Remove the 4 hex bolts on the rear passenger floor.
- Remove the 2 hex bolts on the side step.
- Remove the 4 hex bolts on the rear passenger floor.
- Remove the 2 plastic clips shown.
- Remove the bolt shown.
- Remove 4 hex bolts located under the vehicle.
- Remove the plastic panel.
- Prepare 2nd battery kit parts.
- Remove the hardware from the smaller posts of the isolator.
- Remove the hardware from the main posts of the isolator.
Wiring and Mounting:
- Secure Blue 4 AWG wires tightly. Do not overtighten.
- Attach the isolator to the battery plate using the included hardware.
- Place the thread cutting bolt through the L-Bracket.
- Attach securely to the vehicle.
- Secure and tighten all hardware.
- Use included self-tapping screws to secure the battery plate to the frame.
- Place the UTVS 1200 Battery onto the battery plate.
- Place the battery bracket over the battery and secure using the hardware shown.
- Place the battery plate into the vehicle.
- Line up the 2 holes shown on the plate with the 2 holes in the vehicle.
- Re-tighten the bolt.
- Use the hardware shown to secure the battery plate to the L-Bracket.
- Connect Blue 4 AWG wires to the larger posts of the isolator.
- Connect the 4 AWG Ground wire to the vehicle.
- Run the harness through the roof liner as shown.
- Remove the cover to the Pulse Bar located on the rear passenger side roof liner.
- Plug in the harness to the Pulse Bar.
- Run the harness down through the plastic down to the 2nd battery.
- Connect Blue 4AWG wires to positive and negative terminals of UTVS 1200 battery.
- Run both Blue 4AWG wires to the vehicle battery compartment.
- Connect Blue 4AWG to positive and negative terminals on the original battery.
- Tighten securely.
- Test the isolator. You should hear a click.
- Secure tightly. Do not overtighten.
