This manual provides instructions for operating the Kreafunk aJAZZ Qi Bluetooth speaker.

Overview

The aJAZZ Qi is a portable Bluetooth speaker with a sleek design.

Getting Started: Pairing

Step 1: Power On

Press the power button on the speaker once to turn it on. The speaker will indicate it is ready for pairing.

Step 2: Connect via Bluetooth

1. On your device (phone, tablet, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings.
2. Turn on Bluetooth.
3. Search for available devices.
4. Select "aJAZZ Qi" from the list.
5. Once connected, the speaker will confirm the connection.

Manual Bluetooth Pairing

Step 1: Initiate Pairing

Press and hold the power button for a short duration (indicated by a timer icon showing 0:02 seconds) until the Bluetooth indicator light flashes, signaling it is in pairing mode.

Step 2: Connect via Bluetooth

Follow the same steps as in "Getting Started: Pairing" to connect your device.

Charging and Battery Status

Charging the Speaker

Connect the included USB-C cable to the speaker's USB-C port and a power adapter (5V/1A). The charging indicator will show the status.

Battery Status Indicators:

• Orange: 0-99% battery remaining.
• Green: 100% battery remaining.
• Red: 0-10% battery remaining.
• (No color specified for 10-100% but implied by the range transition)

The speaker also supports Qi wireless charging.

Controls and Functions

• Play/Pause: Double-press the power button (indicated by 2x and play/pause icon) to play or pause music.
• Change Track: Single-press the power button to skip to the next track.
• Change Volume: Press and hold the power button to increase volume (indicated by '+' and timer icon 0:02), and press and hold again to decrease volume (indicated by '-' and timer icon 0:02).

Phone and Voice Assistant

• Answering/Ending Calls: Single-press the power button (indicated by 1x and phone icon) to answer an incoming call or end a current call.
• Voice Assistant: Triple-press the power button (indicated by 3x and microphone icon) to activate your device's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant).

Stereo Play (TWS)

Step 1: Connect Two Speakers

Turn on both aJAZZ Qi speakers. Ensure they are not connected to any other Bluetooth devices.

Step 2: Initiate TWS Pairing

1. On the first speaker (Speaker 1), press and hold the power button for a short duration (indicated by 1x and a timer icon showing 0:02 seconds).
2. On the same speaker (Speaker 1), press and hold the power button again, then press the volume up button once (hold + 1x). This initiates the TWS pairing process.
3. The first speaker will indicate it is connected to the second speaker (e.g., flashing white light).

Step 3: Connect to Device

On your smartphone or other device, search for "aJAZZ Qi" in Bluetooth settings and connect. Both speakers will now play audio in stereo.

Resetting the Speaker

To reset the speaker to factory settings or unpair it from your device, press the power button five times consecutively (indicated by 5x and a refresh icon). The speaker will reset and may require re-pairing.

Safety and Maintenance Instructions

Please read this operation manual carefully before use. Retain these instructions for future reference and follow them at all times.

• Place speakers in a stable position to avoid falls and potential injury or damage.
• Do not expose the product to direct sunlight for extended periods, as high temperatures can shorten its lifespan, damage the battery, and distort plastic parts.
• Do not expose the product to extreme cold, as it may damage the internal circuit board.
• Rechargeable batteries have a limited number of charge cycles. Battery life and cycle count vary with usage and settings.
• Avoid liquids getting into the product.
• Before cleaning with a dry cloth, turn the power switch off and unplug the power cord from the outlet.
• Do not throw, stamp on, or apply excessive pressure to the product, as this may damage the internal circuit board.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the product; this should only be done by a professional.
• Do not use concentrated chemical products or detergents for cleaning.
• Keep the surface away from sharp objects that could damage plastic parts.
• Use only 5V/1A power supplies. Higher voltage power supplies can cause severe damage.
