User Manual

Product Overview

The Karl is a Bluetooth speaker designed for portable audio enjoyment. It offers wireless connectivity and a user-friendly interface.

Charging

The Karl can be charged using a USB-C cable or wirelessly. The charging indicator light will turn orange while charging and green when fully charged.

Battery Status

The battery indicator is located on the back of the Karl. It lights up white when the speaker is turned on. The small light turns red when the battery level drops below 10%.

Powering On/Off

To turn on the Karl, press the power button (?). When the speaker is on, the small light will start blinking.

Listening via Bluetooth

To listen via Bluetooth, find "Karl" in your device's Bluetooth list (in settings). When the light is blinking, the device is in Bluetooth pairing mode. The light turns off when connected to Karl.

Manual Bluetooth Pairing

To manually connect the Karl to Bluetooth, press and hold the power button (?) for 2 seconds (⏱️ 2).

Connecting with NFC

If you are using an Android device, you can use NFC by holding your phone close to the top of your Karl.

Approving NFC Connection

After initiating the NFC connection, you will need to approve it on your phone.

Playback Controls

Play/Pause

To play or pause the sound on the Karl, simply press the power button (?) twice (2x).

Volume and Track Control

To adjust the volume, press the plus () or minus () button. To change track, press and hold the plus () or minus () button for 2 seconds (⏱️ 2).

Phone Calls

To answer or end a call, press the power button (?) once. To reject a call, press and hold the power button (?) for 2 seconds (⏱️ 2).

Voice Assistant

To activate Voice Assistance, press the power button (?) three times (3x).

Stereo Play (TWS)

Activating Stereo Play

To activate Stereo Play, first delete your Karl from your Bluetooth list. Then, press the power button (?) once on both speakers.

Connecting Speakers in Stereo Mode

Press and hold the power (?) and plus () buttons for 2 seconds (⏱️ 2) on speaker 1. The "Flashing white LED" will change to "Blue LED".

Bluetooth Visibility Check

When connecting in stereo mode, only one Karl device should be visible in your Bluetooth list. If two are visible, something went wrong, and you should try again.

Turning Off Stereo Play

Resetting the Karl

To reset your Karl, first remove it from your Bluetooth list. Then, press the power button (?) 5 times (5x).

Safety and Maintenance Instructions

  • Keep the product away from heat sources.
  • Place the speaker in a stable position to avoid falls.

  • Do not leave the Karl in a car, especially in sunlight.

  • Rechargeable batteries have a limited number of charge cycles.
  • Avoid liquids getting into the product.
  • Before cleaning, turn off the speaker and unplug it.
  • Do not throw, stamp on, or disassemble the product.
  • Do not use concentrated chemical products or detergents for cleaning.
  • Keep surfaces away from sharp objects.
  • Use only 5V / 2A power supplies.
  • Do not discard or place the lithium battery near fire or intense heat.
