Connection Diagram Description:
The diagram illustrates how to connect devices to the UC3310. It shows connections for a PTZ Controller to the RS-485 terminal ports (10), a Control Device (e.g., ATEN Controller) to the RJ-45 port (9) for RS-232 control, a PC to the USB Type-B port (11), an HDMI-enabled display to the HDMI output port (12), and up to three USB sources (one audio, two video) to the USB Type-A (13, 14) and USB-C (15) input ports.
Host Requirement
A computer with one of the following operating systems:
- Windows® 10 (32-bit / 64-bit) with 7th-Gen Intel Core Processor or above
- MacOS X 10.12 or later
Installation
- Ground the unit: Connect one end of a grounding wire to the grounding terminal (7) and the other end to a suitable grounded object. Note: Do not omit this step. Proper grounding helps prevent damage to the unit from power surges or static electricity.
- Connect USB sources: Connect up to 3 USB sources (1 audio and 2 video) to the unit’s USB Type-A (13, 14) and USB-C (15) input ports.
- Connect display: Connect an HDMI-enabled display to the unit's HDMI output port (12).
- Connect PC: Connect a PC to the unit's USB Type-B port (11).
- (Optional) PTZ Control: Connect a PTZ control panel to the unit's terminal ports (10) via the terminal block to control the camera connected to the UC3310.
- (Optional) Controller Connection: Connect a controller (e.g., ATEN Controllers) to the unit's RJ-45 port (9) via Ethernet cable for control purposes.
- Connect power adapter: Connect the power adapter to the unit’s power jack (8).
- Power on: Switch the main power switch (6) (rear panel) on and then press the power pushbutton (5) (front panel) to power on the unit.
