UC3020 CAMLIVE™ HDMI to USB-C UVC Video Capture Quick Start Guide

A Hardware Review

The UC3020 device features an HDMI input port (labeled 1) and a USB Type-C output connector (labeled 2). An HDMI source device connects to the HDMI input.

System Requirements

• Operating System: Windows 7 or above, macOS X 10.13 or later with UVC support
• Port: One available USB 3.1 Type-C or Type-A port
• CPU: Intel i3 Dual Core 2.8GHz or above
• RAM: 4GB or above
• Software: Streaming software with UVC device support

B Hardware Installation

Connect the UC3020 to your host device. If your host has a USB Type-C port, connect the UC3020 directly. If your host only has USB Type-A ports, use the included USB Type-C to USB Type-A adapter to connect the UC3020 to the host. Connect your HDMI source to the UC3020's HDMI port.

1. Power on your host device (e.g., laptop).
2. Connect the UC3020's USB Type-C connector to the host. If your host only has USB Type-A ports, use the included USB Type-C to USB Type-A adapter to connect the UC3020 to the host.
3. Connect your HDMI source device to the UC3020's HDMI input port.
4. Download and install suitable video recording or live streaming software that supports UVC devices.

The UC3020 cannot display or capture HDCP protected content.
