A Hardware Review
The UC3020 device features an HDMI input port (labeled 1) and a USB Type-C output connector (labeled 2). An HDMI source device connects to the HDMI input.

System Requirements
- Operating System: Windows 7 or above, macOS X 10.13 or later with UVC support
- Port: One available USB 3.1 Type-C or Type-A port
- CPU: Intel i3 Dual Core 2.8GHz or above
- RAM: 4GB or above
- Software: Streaming software with UVC device support
B Hardware Installation
Connect the UC3020 to your host device. If your host has a USB Type-C port, connect the UC3020 directly. If your host only has USB Type-A ports, use the included USB Type-C to USB Type-A adapter to connect the UC3020 to the host. Connect your HDMI source to the UC3020's HDMI port.
- Power on your host device (e.g., laptop).
- Connect the UC3020's USB Type-C connector to the host. If your host only has USB Type-A ports, use the included USB Type-C to USB Type-A adapter to connect the UC3020 to the host.
- Connect your HDMI source device to the UC3020's HDMI input port.
- Download and install suitable video recording or live streaming software that supports UVC devices.

The UC3020 cannot display or capture HDCP protected content.
