This intelligent vacuum travels through living spaces, bedrooms, kitchens, and more to deliver a cleaning experience that's hassle-free and stays out of your way. It can easily navigate from hardwood floors to rugs and carpet with gripping rubber wheels. Its slim frame quietly utilizes a super-efficient, 3-stage cleaning system that has four modes and can be operated via remote or the tzumi Smart Home app, compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant. Program it to clean when you want, and when the job is done (or the battery is running low), SMART CLEAN V2 returns to its dock for automatic charging.

Let's Get Started
- Plug in the Charging Dock into the wall and secure any excess wire to prevent interference with the vacuum.
- Place the charging dock on a hard, level surface against a wall.
- Ensure the area around the charging dock is open and uncluttered, leaving approximately 3 feet (1 meter) on both sides and 6 feet (2 meters) in front.
- Install the side brushes by pressing them into their designated slots until they click.
- Powering up: Place the unit on the Charging Dock, ensuring proper alignment and connection via the metal contact points. The unit powers up when the indicator illuminates.
Basic Operating Functions
Cleaning Modes
- Auto Clean: Uses smart path navigation and an internal gyro for precise cleaning. It also cleans around edges of rooms and furniture.
- Carpet Mode: For thick or dark rugs where the V2 might lose its way. This mode disables 'smarts' and cleans randomly.
- Spot Clean: Place the unit on a desired area and press the "spot clean" option on the remote. The unit will spiral in a 5-foot diameter, returning to the original spot.
- Edge Clean: This mode cleans along the edges of the room.
- Manual Clean: Use the directional arrow buttons on the remote to control the vacuum manually.
Control Functions
- To Start: Press the [power-button] on the vacuum or the AUTO button on the remote.
- To Pause: Press the [power-button] on the vacuum or the [play-pause-symbol] button on the remote. Press again to resume.
- To Dock: Press the [home-symbol] button on the vacuum or the [home-symbol] button on the remote to send the unit back to its Charging Dock.
- To Turn Off: Press and hold the [power-button] on the vacuum until you hear 'Powering Off'.
Additional Features
- Suction Boost: Default suction is 1000 Pa, can be increased up to 2000 Pa by pressing the "suction power" button on the remote.
- Auto Dock & Recharge: The V2 automatically docks to recharge when the battery is low or the cleaning cycle is complete. If a cycle was interrupted, it will resume after charging. (Note: Dock must be accessible for charging).
Notes Before Cleaning
Before using the SmartClean robo vac V2, pick up objects like clothing, loose papers, pull cords for blinds or curtains, power cords, and any fragile objects. If the room to be cleaned contains a balcony, a physical barrier should be used to prevent access to the balcony and ensure safe operation.
Starting, Pausing, and Powering Off
- Start a Cleaning Cycle: Press the "Power" button or the "Auto" button on the remote.
- Pause Cleaning Cycle: Press the "Power" button on the vacuum or the "Pause" button on the remote. Press the same button again to resume.
- To send back to Charging Dock: Press the "Home" button on the V2 or the remote control.
- Power Off: Press and hold the "Power" button until you hear 'Powering OFF'.

Tzumi Smart Home App
WiFi Set-Up
- Download the Tzumi Smart Home app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
- Open the app and create a user account.
- Tap the "+" icon and add the "Smart Clean RoboVac" to your account.
Scan the code to download the latest version of "Tzumi Smart Home" or search "Tzumi Smart Home" in the app store.
Adding the vacuum to the APP
- E-Z Mode: Press both "Power/Home" buttons for 5 seconds until 'WiFi resetted, ready for EZ Mode Connection' is heard. Verify the WiFi LED is blinking fast. Follow app instructions.
- AP Mode: For routers where E-Z Mode doesn't work. Press both buttons for 5 seconds until 'WiFi resetted, ready for AP Mode Connection' is heard. Verify the WiFi LED is blinking slowly. Follow app instructions. If EZ mode prompt is heard, reset again for AP mode.
Voice Control with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa
Prerequisites
- V2 attached to Charging Dock and sufficiently charged.
- V2 active in the Tzumi Smart Home App.
- Google Home or Amazon Alexa app installed and account active.
- Google Assistant or Alexa enabled device.
Operate with Google Assistant
- Open the Google Home app.
- Press the "+" icon, set up a device, choose 'Works with Google'.
- Search for the 'Tzumi Smart' service and link your account.
Example Commands:
- "Ok Google, set Smart Vac to auto mode"
- "Ok Google, set Smart Vac to edge mode"
- "Ok Google, ask Smart Vac to stop cleaning"
- "Ok Google, ask Smart Vac to go home"
Operate with Amazon Alexa
- Open the Amazon Alexa app, select "Skills" from the options menu.
- Search for "Tzumi Smart" and tap 'enable'.
- Log in using your Tzumi Smart Home app credentials to grant Alexa access.
Example Commands:
- "Alexa, ask Smart Vac to start cleaning"
- "Alexa, ask Smart Vac to stop cleaning"
- "Alexa, ask Smart Vac to go home"

To maintain peak performance, follow these care procedures. If suction decreases, empty the dust bin, clean the filter, and clean the Main Brush.

Maintenance Procedures
4.1 Emptying the SmartClean robo vac V2 Dust Bin
- Lift the top lid on the vacuum.
- Pick up the dustbin handle and pull to remove the dustbin.
- Open the dustbin door to empty it.
4.2 Cleaning the SmartClean robo vac V2 Filter
- Remove the filter by grasping the white tab.
- Shake off debris by tapping the filter against your trash container.
4.3 Cleaning the SmartClean robo vac V2's Side Brushes
- Remove the brushes.
- Clean the brushes and their stands, then reinstall them.
4.4 Cleaning the Anti-Drop Sensors and Charging Contacts
- Wipe the Smart Clean Robo Vac's Anti-Drop sensors, charging contacts, and dock contacts with a clean, dry cloth.
4.5 Cleaning the Vac Floor Anti-Collision Sensor
- Use a clean, dry microfiber or soft cotton cloth to wipe any debris accumulated in the round sensor opening on the right side of the bottom surface. Do not spray cleaning solution directly into the sensor opening.
4.6 Cleaning the SmartClean robo vac V2 Main Brush
- Pull on the release tabs to unlock the brush guard.
- Lift the Main Brush to remove it.
- Clean the Main Brush with the provided cleaning tool or a vacuum cleaner.
- Reinstall the Main Brush by inserting the fixed protruding end first, then click into place.
- Press down to snap the Main Brush cover into place.
User Cautions
The Smart Clean Robo Vac is for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors, or in commercial or industrial environments.
- Before use, pick up objects like clothing, loose papers, pull cords, power cords, and fragile items.
- This is not a toy. Do not sit or stand on the unit. Supervise children and pets during operation.
- Store and operate in room temperature environments.
- Do not use to pick up burning or smoking materials.
- Do not use to pick up spills of wet materials like bleach, paint, or chemicals.
- If the room has a balcony, use a physical barrier to prevent access for safety.
- Do not place anything on top of the unit.
- Be aware that the unit moves on its own; be careful not to step on it.
- Do not operate in areas with exposed electrical outlets in the floor.
Battery Care & Charging
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: 1. This device may not cause harmful interference. 2. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
- Charge using a standard outlet only. Using a power converter will void the warranty.
- Do not use a damaged charging dock cord or plug. Contact the manufacturer or a qualified service provider for service.
- Charge indoors only.
- The charging dock may be protected by a surge protector.
- Never handle the charging dock or cables with wet hands.
- Always remove the unit from the charging dock before cleaning or maintenance.
- The unit contains Li-Ion rechargeable batteries; never open, pierce, or damage them.
- Do not wet the battery compartment.
- If batteries are leaking, stop use immediately and contact customer service.
Troubleshooting
The SmartClean robo vac V2 will indicate problems with a distress sound and a message. The "Power/Home" button may blink or be solid red.
