Quick Connect Procedure

1. Press and hold the multi-function button on both earbuds until you hear "Power On" and then "Pairing".
2. The earbuds will be ready to pair when you hear 2 chimes.
3. Select 'Tzumi Sound Mates' from your device's Bluetooth display list.
4. Once connected, you'll hear "Device Connected", indicating that your SoundMates are now ready to use.

Keep distance between device and earbuds approximately 3 feet for pairing.

Troubleshooting

• If the SoundMates aren't pairing, reset them by pressing and holding the multi-function button on both earbuds until the LEDs flash red and blue alternately.

Earbud Functions

Changing the Primary Earbud

To change the primary SOUNDMATE, hold the multifunction button on both earbuds, then quickly press the multi-function button twice on the earbud you want to be primary.

Powering Off

Use the power off option: long press the multi-function button for about 4 seconds, you'll hear "Power off" and both earbuds will turn off. Alternatively, place the earbuds in the charging case, and they will automatically charge and shut down.

Battery Life and Charging

• The earbuds will automatically turn off after 5 minutes of inactivity.
• Place the SoundMates into the case for automatic charging; the LED will turn solid red while charging.
• Once fully charged, plug the Micro-USB cable into the bottom of the case to charge it.

Safety Precautions

• Use only as intended and avoid exposure to heat sources, direct sunlight, humidity, water, or extreme temperatures.
• Do not operate the unit if wet or damaged; repairs should be performed by a qualified electrician.
• Keep unit out of reach of children as it's not a toy.
• Dispose battery properly according to local and state laws.

Hands-Free Function

Press the multi-function button briefly to answer an incoming call or end a current one; press it for a longer time to reject an incoming call. Double-pressing does the same as the single long press, but calls back the last caller. Note that this function only works with the master earpiece.

Single Earbud Pairing

Hold down the multi-function button for about 6 seconds until you hear "Power on" and then "Pairing", and the blue/red lights will flash quickly (the other earbud should be off during this process). Activate Bluetooth on your device, search for "E41", and connect to it. You'll hear a prompt saying "Phone paired" and see flashing blue lights - it's ready to use. If no device is connected within 5 minutes after power-on, the earbuds will automatically turn off to conserve power. After successful pairing, your devices will remember each other and pair automatically next time.
