Installation Guide

The wall socket is designed for standard wall mounting. Refer to the following steps for installation.

Installation Method:

The socket can be installed using magnet mounting or standard retrofit methods. Detailed steps for mounting the socket and its components (frame, control element) are provided, ensuring a secure fit.

Resetting the Device

To restore the socket to its factory default settings:

1. Press and hold the device's button for 5 seconds.
2. Observe the signal indicator light; it will flash quickly or slowly, indicating the reset process has begun.

Mobile Application Setup

The "Smart Life" application is required to control and manage the smart socket.

1. Download and Install the App:

Scan the provided QR code [QR Code for Smart Life App Download] or search for "Smart Life" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download and install the application on your smartphone.

2. Account Registration and Login:

Upon opening the app, you will be prompted to log in or register. If you are a new user, create an account using your mobile phone number or email address. The system will automatically detect your country. Follow the on-screen prompts to receive a verification code, set a password, and complete the registration.

Adding Devices to the App

2.1 Adding a WiFi Device:

1. Ensure your smartphone is connected to your local WiFi network (2.4GHz).
2. Perform a reset on the smart socket by pressing its button for 20 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly.
3. Open the "Smart Life" app, navigate to the homepage, and tap the "+" icon.
4. Select "wall switch" from the list of device types.
5. Enter your WiFi password and confirm.
6. Wait for the app to configure and connect to the device.

2.2 Adding a Zigbee Device:

To add the socket via a Zigbee gateway:

2. Share Device:

Allow other users to control the smart socket by sharing access:

1. Navigate to the device's settings within the "Smart Life" app and select "Device Sharing".

3. Enter the mobile phone number or email address of the person you wish to share with.
4. The device will then appear in their "Smart Life" account.

Voice Control Integration

Enhance your smart home experience by integrating the socket with popular voice assistants.

1. Control with Amazon Alexa:

1. Open the Amazon Alexa app and go to "Home" > "Skills".
2. Search for the "Smart Life" skill and tap "Enable".
3. Log in using your "Smart Life" app account credentials and tap "Link Now".
4. Once linked, return to the Alexa app. Navigate to "Smart Home" > "Devices" > "Discover". Alexa will detect the smart socket within approximately 20 seconds.
5. You can now control the socket using voice commands such as, "Alexa, turn on the living room socket."

2. Control with Google Home:

1. Open the Google Home or Google Assistant app and go to "Home" > "Home Control".
