Description
This smart socket connects wirelessly to your home Wi-Fi network, enabling control of lights and other connected devices without a hub. It is compatible with the Tuya platform, allowing for brightness adjustments, fan control, scheduling, and integration into lighting scenes for creating ambiance.

Preparation for Use
1. APP Download: Download the “Smart Life” application from your app store.
2. Register or Login: Enter the Register/Login interface. Tap “Register” to create an account using your phone number for a verification code and set a password. If you already have an account, choose “Log in”.
3. Configure the APP to the switch: Ensure the smart plug is connected to electricity. Your phone must be connected to Wi-Fi and the internet. Note: The plug only supports 2.4G Wi-Fi networks. Disconnect from any 5G networks before proceeding.
Scan the provided QR code or search for “Smart Life” on your app store to download the application.
Steps for Connecting the APP to the Device
Method One: QR Code Network Configuration
Ensure your Smart Life/Tuya Smart APP is successfully connected to Wi-Fi.
Method Two: General Setup
1. Ensure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is enabled.
2. Put the device into pairing mode: Turn the power button ON and OFF 6 times consecutively. On the 6th time, hold the button until the indicator light flashes rapidly, indicating it's ready for app configuration.
3. In the Smart Life/Tuya App, tap the “+” icon. The app should automatically display a prompt page; tap “Add”.
4. Enter your Wi-Fi password and tap “Next”. Wait for the connection to complete.
5. Once the device is added successfully, you can edit its name. Tap “Next” to proceed to the device page.
6. Tap “Done” to enter the device page and begin using your smart plug for home automation.
Equipment Operating Instructions
1. Resetting / Re-pairing Wi-Fi
EZ Mode: Turn the power button ON/OFF 6 times, holding it on the 6th time until the indicator light flashes rapidly for pairing or reset.
AP Mode: From EZ mode, turn the power button ON/OFF 6 times, holding it on the 6th time until the indicator light flashes slowly to enter AP mode.
2. Manual ON/OFF
Short press the on/off button to manually turn the device ON or OFF.
3. Manual Dimming
To dim a connected dimmable bulb, plug it into the smart power plug. Long press the on/off button to adjust brightness. Release the button when the desired light intensity is reached.
When the light is ON and at maximum brightness, long pressing the button will slowly dim it to the minimum. Release to stop dimming. When the light is ON but not at maximum brightness, long pressing will slowly increase the brightness to maximum.
Voice Control with Amazon Alexa
You can control your smart plug using voice commands via Amazon Alexa after linking your Smart Life account.
1. Configure Product Networking in the App
Complete the device's network configuration within the Smart Life app. It is recommended to rename the device in the app to something easily recognizable, like “bed light” or “living room lamp”.
2. Configure the Amazon Echo Device
If you have already set up Amazon Echo, you can skip this. These instructions are based on the iOS client:
- Ensure your Amazon Echo device is powered on and connected to Wi-Fi.
- Open and log in to the Alexa app on your phone.
- Tap the menu icon (☰) in the upper left corner of the Home page, select “Settings”, then tap “Set Up A New Device” to configure your Amazon Echo.
- Choose your Amazon Echo device type and language.
- Press and hold the small dot on the Echo device until the light ring turns yellow.
- Tap “Continue” to connect to the Amazon Echo hotspot, then return to the Alexa app.
- Tap “Continue” to find and connect your Echo device to your home Wi-Fi network.
- Amazon Echo will take a few minutes to connect. Once successful, tap “Continue”. An introductory video may play; tap “Continue” after it finishes to go to the Alexa Home page.
- Your Amazon Echo configuration is now complete.
3. Link Skill
- In the Alexa app, tap “Skills” in the menu.
- Search for the “Smart Life” skill and tap “Enable”.
- Enter your Smart Life app account credentials and tap “Link Now” to connect your accounts. The skill is now enabled.
4. Common Commands
Control your smart device with voice commands:
- “Alexa, turn on/off [device name].” (e.g., “Alexa, turn on bedroom light.”)
- “Alexa, set [device name] to 50 percent.” (Adjust brightness)
- “Alexa, brighten/dim [device name].” (Increase/decrease brightness)

1. During the free warranty period, if the product malfunctions during normal use, free maintenance will be provided.
