Illimity International Debit Card Contract

This document details the contract for the issuance and use of the Illimity International Debit Card. It covers the application process, terms and conditions, fees, and security protocols.

Application and Issuance

To apply for the Illimity International Debit Card, customers must complete a request form. The bank will review the application and may accept or reject it. Upon acceptance, the card will be issued and sent to the customer's registered address. The contract is considered concluded upon the bank's acceptance of the application.

Card Usage and Fees

The card can be used for purchases and cash withdrawals, subject to monthly and daily limits. The annual fee for the card is free. Specific fees may apply for cash withdrawals at ATMs, depending on the account package and location (within the Eurozone or outside). Transaction fees for foreign currency exchanges are also detailed, including a potential commission of 2% of the transacted amount.

Security and Account Management

Customers are advised to protect their card and PIN. The contract outlines procedures for reporting lost or stolen cards, unauthorized transactions, and other security-related issues. Illimity offers various security services, including SMS alerts for transactions and 3D Secure for online purchases. Customers can manage their accounts and card services through the Illimity online portal and mobile app.

Contract Terms

The contract is for an indefinite period. The card has an expiry date and is automatically renewed unless otherwise specified. Customers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of conclusion under certain conditions. The bank may also terminate the contract under specific circumstances, such as non-compliance with anti-money laundering regulations or significant changes in the customer's financial situation. All communications regarding the contract will be in Italian.

Customer Responsibilities

Cardholders are responsible for safeguarding their card and PIN, reporting any suspicious activity promptly, and providing accurate personal information. The contract also details the customer's responsibility in case of unauthorized transactions, with specific limits on liability unless fraud or gross negligence is involved.
