Service Features and Risks
The Illimity International Debit Card is a payment instrument for consumers that allows transactions at merchants participating in international circuits, including online purchases, and cash withdrawals at enabled ATMs worldwide. The card is linked to your current account.
The card is issued by Illimity Bank and managed by Nexi, which handles operational aspects and holds licenses for international circuits.

Principal Risks:
- Unfavorable changes in economic conditions (fees and charges).

- Exchange rate variations for non-Euro transactions.
- Inability to revoke payment operations once authorized, except under specific contract terms.

Account Transition
Switching to a new Illimity account package (Smart, Plus, Classic, Premium) may involve the replacement of the previous debit card contract, with the existing card continuing to be valid under the new contract terms.
Unauthorized or Incorrectly Executed Transactions
Customers must report unauthorized or incorrectly executed payment or cash withdrawal transactions to Nexi Customer Service immediately, and no later than 13 months from the debit date. Transactions are considered incorrect if not executed according to the customer's order or instructions.
Withdrawal and Complaints
Right of Withdrawal (Consumer): Consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period from the contract conclusion date or from the date of receiving contractual information to withdraw from the contract without penalty. Withdrawal notice should be sent via registered mail or certified email (PEC).
Withdrawal by the Holder: The holder can withdraw from the contract at any time without notice, penalty, or fees by sending a written communication via the online personal area, certified email, or registered mail.
Withdrawal by the Bank: The bank may withdraw with 2 months' notice for standard reasons or immediately for just cause (e.g., insolvency, protests, legal seizures, gross negligence, misrepresentation, loss of trust, or other justified reasons). Upon withdrawal, all prior obligations remain, and the card must be invalidated.
Complaints: Complaints can be submitted in writing via registered mail, certified email, or through the online personal area. The bank will respond within 15 working days, or up to 35 working days for exceptional reasons. If unsatisfied, customers may refer to the Banking and Financial Arbitrator (ABF).
Legal Information
Governing Law and Jurisdiction: The contract is drafted in Italian and governed by Italian law. For consumer disputes, the competent court is the customer's place of residence or domicile.
