At a Glance
Camera Components
- 1. Lens: The primary optical component for capturing images.
- 2. microSD Card Slot: Insert a microSD card (not included) to store recordings. Use at least a Class 10 microSD card with a maximum of 128GB.
- 3. Microphone: Captures audio.
- 4. LED Indicator: Displays the camera's status.
- 5. Speaker: Outputs audio.
- 6. Power Input: Port for connecting the USB-C power cable.
- 7. SYNC Button: Used for synchronization and reset functions.
Setting up the System
Step 1: Download the eufy App
Download and install the eufy app from your device's app store. Sign up or create an account within the app.
Available on the App Store and Google Play.
Step 2: Connect to Power
Connect the camera to a power source using the provided USB-C cable and power adapter. Wait until the status LED turns solid blue, indicating it is ready.
Step 3: Add Camera to App
There are two primary methods to add your camera to the eufy app:
Method A: Scan QR Code
On the app's home screen, tap 'Add Device'. Then, tap the icon in the upper right corner to scan the QR code located on the back of the camera. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
Method B: Manual Selection
On the app's home screen, tap 'Add Device'. Navigate through the options: select 'Wired Camera', then 'Indoor Cam Pan&Tilt V2', followed by 'Indoor Cam C220'. Follow the in-app instructions to finalize the setup.
LED Light Guide
LED Status | Meaning |
---|---|
Solid Violet | System is initializing |
Solid Blue | Working normally or ready for setup |
Blinking Red | Not connected to the internet |
Solid Red | Recording or the live stream is being viewed |
Flashing Blue and Red | Firmware upgrade in progress. Ensure the camera remains connected to a power source. |
Installing your Camera
Choose a Location
The camera can be placed on a table or shelf, or mounted on a wall or ceiling. Select a location and height that provides your desired view and is within reach of a power outlet.
Warning: Keep the camera at least 0.7 ft (0.2 m) away from any objects or walls. This distance helps prevent infrared reflections that could negatively impact night vision performance. ⚠️
Camera Field of View
On a Table or Shelf
When placed on a table or shelf at a height of 2.6 ft, the camera covers a horizontal field of view extending approximately 2 ft in front of it.
On the Wall
When mounted on a wall at a height of 8 ft, the camera covers a horizontal field of view of approximately 5.6 ft.
On the Ceiling
When mounted on a ceiling at a height of 10 ft, the camera covers a horizontal field of view of approximately 2.6 ft.
Mount on a Wall or Ceiling
Warning: Before mounting, disconnect the camera from the power outlet. ⚠️
Step 1: Mark and Drill
Use the positioning sticker to mark the screw positions on the wall or ceiling. Drill a pilot hole at the marked locations.
Step 2: Secure Mounting Plate
Align the mounting plate with the drilled holes. Ensure the "UP" arrow on the plate is pointing upwards. Secure the mounting plate to the wall or ceiling using the provided screws.
On the Wall Installation

Step 3: Connect USB-C Cable
Unplug the camera. Connect the USB-C cable to the camera. Ensure the other end is disconnected from a power source. ⚠️
Step 4: Cable Management (Wall Mount)
For wall installations, route the USB-C cable through the cable channel on the mounting plate. This step is not required for ceiling installations.
Step 5: Attach Camera
Slide the camera onto the secured mounting plate. Ensure it is firmly attached.
